The last thing anyone needs to do at this time is cause an old injury to flare up by doing the thing you know is a risk. In my experience, previous injuries never go away entirely. They’re always waiting just below the surface to flare up again. I’m glad you posted this, because some people like being critical without knowing all the facts. Knighton was acquitted for it because his mother and girlfriend ate containmed meat in Florida as Knighton, but Arbitrary Committee can change the dynamics and they are allowing him to compete; in swimming, one of the swimmers had been acquitted but had to withdraw because of the same committee that had received a four years suspension because he couldn't prove his case, something about banning substance in his blood, but Knighton is about contaminated meat that his mother, himself and his girlfriend ate in Florida that he tested positive for banned substance by the Anti Doping Agency.. but they are allowing him to compete until further notice!! All of those 200m contenders are capable of being in the semi finals depending upon what time that their execution and performance so I always expect the unexpected at the OLYMPICS TRIALS because it's no bye and past performance: it's what you are going to do when it counts; do you have what it takes to do under pressure?!! Now Fred Kerbey, I am disappointed that he withdrew, but that's not 🚭🚫 surprising; he did that recently: he elected not to run... so maybe, he thought 🤔 what was best for his physical body to endure and that is to pull out of the heats, and am sure that he checked with his coaches and support team members as well as medical staff: he was injured in the past and sometimes, unexpectedly, medical conditions flared up... so he rather be safe than sorry for that qualifying heat.. I don't know because Fred is not 🚭🚫 going to give an explanation if he doesn't want to do so!!! He competed at Hayden Field and he knows about the weather there that can affect his body... And he can always be in the pool for the relays... so he would be okay!!! He already qualified for the Olympics.. and maybe 🤔 that he doesn't want the same thing happened to him when he didn't qualify for Worlds in Budapest: he missed out of the 100m and the 200m dash respectively!!! @@Jordan27893 yeah, that is what I read twice and if you remember Knighton had not 🚭🚫 competed until tonight for the 200m dash in the Olympics trials and you know how strict the United States is about doping; the Anti Doping Agency would approach an athlete any time and any day according to an American swimmer unannounced to have you given an example in the cup, or you have to report on the designated day and time... there are rules and regulations that an athlete has to maintain for clean and fair sports... Remember there were athletes in the past that got suspended in the USA alone so the United States of America are very strict, and for Knighton to be competing, he was acquitted, he proved his innocence!!!! Glad for him that the matter is clear for him!!!
