Thanks for the review. I think they dropped the ball here. As an electrician I want the ⅞ (½ pipe) and 1⅛ for ¾ pipe. 2 of the 3 unibits in this kit aren't really servicable for an electrician.
With all due respect sir…. I am a Master Electrician that works for a organization that only does medical projects really most of the time… But we occasionally do the nicer Grocery stores, and we also do some car dealerships and 5-12 story office buildings. I’m on the Commercial side of the business so you can imagine how much 3/4 and 1” EMT we run. I’m not trying to change your mind about this bit kit… just know they have 2 different size offerings and one of them is the bigger diameter set. It goes I believe from the biggest in this box all the way up to 1.625. I bought the 1-3/8” or 1.625 bit as a stand alone for 75.00 with taxes and to my knowledge that’s the biggest Klein makes in the step bits. that so please know the smaller bits get use a lot for my work scope but maybe they don’t fit everyone. I’ve gotten a lot of use out of the small 3 Astro bit Mod Box set. To each their own. Even if I don’t use them as much as someone who can’t justify spending 100 bucks for the set I don’t get because if I know I have them when they are needed even if I only use them a few times a year it’s good insurance to know you have the right tools and the best for the job. The last several years I’ve done Hospitals Optometrist/Eye surgery operating rooms. A lot of Surgical Suites as well for outpatient procedures and they work well for me. If you have the extra funds to buy the step bits go buy the biggest stand alone and this 3 bit set and I bet you would find some use for it at some point. I love Project Pinehill 🌲 reviews. I’m glad that I found this page. I’m getting that battery powered ball grip screwdriver when I find the Gold edition like I want. I saw that for the first time on here as well.
