I'd imagine Altare has a special ability to switch modes to turn either Dark as a Demon Lord or Fairy as the seiso idol But keeping the fighting would fit him as the hero theme
Funny how most talents already have some form of Pokemon similarities. You have Kronii and Sana as Dialga and Palkia, Ame as Gumshoos, Ina as Malamar, Calli as Dusknoir, Gura as Sharpedo, Mumei as Decidueye, Irys as Absol, Fauna as Shaymin/Zygarde, and probably, Bae can be Yveltal.
Small pet peeve but i think people often tend to go just a bit overboard when theorizing type combinations. There are plenty of interesting type combos out there but sometimes a pure typing just makes by far the most sense.
Yea, that makes sense. Especially seeing as you can represent a sort of affinity for another type with the moveset by including certain off-type moves too, right? Like water type gura having some sort of fighting attack to represent her "punchy" kusogaki/"gawr" moments. Or grass type fauna having something like lullaby or hypnosis or something to represent her soft-spoken nature, etc. Or a dark/psychic move to represent her goth/yandere side. Come to think of it, there's actually a ton of expression available to pokemon beyond type, including natures and things like conditional/branching evolutions. Could be fun to consider the gender flipped council were just the male versions of council's female pokemon too haha.
If you ask me... Ina: Dark/Psychic, with an Ability that makes her sound based moves stronger and a signature move where she goes WAH. Kiara: Fire/Fairy, with Revival Blessing and Flying type moves in her movepool. Gura: Water/Fighting with a Form Change to Water/Dark. Irys: Dark/Fairy, with something similar to Morpeko's Hangry for an ability. Ame: Normal/Steel but has Poison Touch for her ability. Why? Remember she has needles. Kronii: Steel/Psychic. Praise oshii. Calli: Ghost/Fighting with Moxie for her ability. Fauna: Grass/Dragon, with the ability that Arboliva has. Mumei: Fighting/Flying where under 50% hp becomes Fighting/Dark. Sana: Psychic/Fairy. Space and the Moon is a common thing between both types. Comes with Well-Baked Body wink wink. Bae: Normal/Dark with plenty of moves that do statuses like Burn, Poison etc. Prankster ability.
@@dragb9284 in today's competitive scene, I'd still rather have Dark type if I was forced to pick. Offensively, look at moves like Knock Off and Sucker Punch that are still dominating. Defensively, look at the new popular Ghost and Dark type damage dealers in Scarlet and Violet that you can resist. Fighting is really good today, yes, but I'd say Dark is still even better
2:44 I think this is because those moves are suppose to act like middle stages to their categories; much like Ember being the first stage Fire move, Flamethrower being the middle stage, and Fire Blast being the final stage
My bet for Bae is Fire/Psychic. Fire for general asthetic and energetic personality. Psychic for the chaos aspect since she messes with probability and chance in unpercievable ways.

I'm going to try my best to come up with my own typings, and I'll put the order down based on some Hololive fan games such as Holo Dungeon and Hololice Councilrys. :p (I can't help but feel like from top to bottom, these girls could also be like Elite Four members to Champion status as well. :?). Holo Myth Ame - Steel/Psychic (The Steel part comes from the more physical tools as a detective such as teaching Kiara irl how to use a gun, as well as cuffs, and of course Psychic comes from needing a "beeg brain" to solve mysteries. :p) Kiara - Fire/Flying (Basically a Moltres as a Phoenix, give or take. :p) Gura - Water/Steel (Normal Form she's part Steel to me rather than Fighting because of the Trident, though Fighting sounds good too as she IS pretty feisty. :p Of course, Red Gura or "Gawr" is part Dark, and she's basically a Sharpedo or Empoleon, or something. :p). Ina - Water/Psychic or Water/Dark (In some fan games at least, while Kiara is usually a support character with at least a few surprisingly weak attacks, Ina is apparently the powerful black mage. :p). Calli - Ghost/Dark (The tough rapping "Reaper" most likely has the darkest typing, although I'd say she has some surprisingly cute moments too which make her seem almost part Psychic or Fairy. :p Maybe that can be more of a moveset overlap though. :?) Holo Council Fauna - Grass (maybe Part Fairy. :p Her "Let Me Stay Here" song practically screams "Fairy Tale" no different than someone like Rosemi, so maybe. ^^;). Mumei - Grass or Flying/Ghost (Someone said she's basically a Decidueye and I agree. :p It's between that and a cute Noctowl anyway. :? I wonder if she likes Mimikyus. :p). Bae - Fire/Psychic (Same as what someone else said rather than being part Dark despite what her original aesthetic and lore songs like Psycho would tell you, she seems more energetic in the fiery sense, she's a cute redhead, and... she kind of makes me think of Flannery. :p She's also Chaos with a Gambling theme of the RNG, and she's actually bad at horror usually rather than good at it, and super girly, her typing would be more like someone whose WEAK to Ghost/Dark, not strong against it, being Dark type actually makes no sense. :p She's like a Sudowoodo, her true typign is deceptive. :? Which also fits Chaos. :p). Irys - Dark/Psychic or Dark/Fairy (I'm not too familiar with Irys but despite her fallen angel/nephilim theme, she seems extremely cute and sweet and a lot of her themes seem to focus around "hope", and she's got that crystal attack thing in Councilrys, so yeah. :p Definitely part cute "light" aligned too. :?). Kronii - Steel/Psychic (An arguably more powerful foil to Ame, she at least would probably have this typing for real. :p A lot of the clock themes and her moves like the chains and blades in Councilrys is practically pure Steel, though the Time aspect might be a philosophical "Psychic" based concept for smart people. :p Same for Space of course. ^^;). Sana - Psychic (maybe part Fairy) (Sana might be more pure Psychic or something but a really powerful typing otherwise as the Space girl. :p She can have hidden bonus boss status. ^^;). Phew, finally, I'm done. :p

I’d say Ame was Normal/Ground. We all know why. Kiara is easily Fire/Flying yeah. Gura being Water into Water/Dark with a form change makes sense, kind of like Morpeko. Irys being Dark/Fairy makes sense. Calli being a Ghost type makes sense, but I wouldn’t go as far as to say Fairy. Ina being Dark/Psychic works. Forbidden knowledge and mind breaking shenanigans. Kronii is just steel. Not much to it. Mumei would be Normal/Flying with a Dark tera type. :) Fauna seems like a Grass/Fairy to me. She’s got the aesthetic and the darker side to them down pat. Sana can hang out with Solrock and Lunatone as a celestial Rock/Psychic Bae… Dark/Normal. She’s cheeky and random but also the sane one.
"If there's a combination that covers a lot of weaknesses, that'd be not ideal" Well, there's Kingdra, Sableye, and Spiritomb, especially Sableye and Spiritomb since they nullified three types. But when the "fairy type patch" happens, they're no longer the "no weakness" combination anymore. Sure, Kingdra still weak to dragon type, but dragon attacks aren't that easy to find back then. Steel type also used to resist nearly everything, but I kept thinking that they had to kinda nerf Aegislash somehow so they removed some resistances, specifically dark and ghost, the sole weaknesses of ghost types.

I also don't think there are any other types that qualify for the second type spot. Kiara: Fire/Flying, obviously Ina: Dark/Normal or Dark/Psychic Gura: Mono Water. Ame: Mono Normal, Normal/Fighting, maybe Normal/Poison (Watson Concotion) Bae: Very tricky, probably mono Ground or, if you want to spice it up, Ground/Dark Mumei: Flying/Normal or Flying/Dark, as chat suggested. Kronii: Very hard. technically we already have time and space pokemon (Dialga and Palkia) so going by that she'd be Steel/Dragon but I would have given her Steel anyway for the hands of the clock. If not Mono Steel, Psychic is debatable. Fauna: Mono Grass or Grass/Ground Sana: Same as with Kronii, there is already Palkia. However, I don't think neither Water nor Dragon fit Sana. This is probably the hardest one to pinpoint but I would give her Flying/Fairy or Mono Fairy since fairies are very elusive creatures and since she is in space it's hard to get a hold of her. I'm going to try my best to come up with my own typings, and I'll put the order down based on some Hololive fan games such as Holo Dungeon and Hololice Councilrys. :p (I can't help but feel like from top to bottom, these girls could also be like Elite Four members to Champion status as well. :?).
Holo Myth
Ame - Steel/Psychic (The Steel part comes from the more physical tools as a detective such as teaching Kiara irl how to use a gun, as well as cuffs, and of course Psychic comes from needing a "beeg brain" to solve mysteries. :p)
Kiara - Fire/Flying (Basically a Moltres as a Phoenix, give or take. :p)
Gura - Water/Steel (Normal Form she's part Steel to me rather than Fighting because of the Trident, though Fighting sounds good too as she IS pretty feisty. :p Of course, Red Gura or "Gawr" is part Dark, and she's basically a Sharpedo or Empoleon, or something. :p).
Ina - Water/Psychic or Water/Dark (In some fan games at least, while Kiara is usually a support character with at least a few surprisingly weak attacks, Ina is apparently the powerful black mage. :p).
Calli - Ghost/Dark (The tough rapping "Reaper" most likely has the darkest typing, although I'd say she has some surprisingly cute moments too which make her seem almost part Psychic or Fairy. :p Maybe that can be more of a moveset overlap though. :?)
Holo Council
Fauna - Grass (maybe Part Fairy. :p Her "Let Me Stay Here" song practically screams "Fairy Tale" no different than someone like Rosemi, so maybe. ^^;).
Mumei - Grass or Flying/Ghost (Someone said she's basically a Decidueye and I agree. :p It's between that and a cute Noctowl anyway. :? I wonder if she likes Mimikyus. :p).
Bae - Fire/Psychic (Same as what someone else said rather than being part Dark despite what her original aesthetic and lore songs like Psycho would tell you, she seems more energetic in the fiery sense, she's a cute redhead, and... she kind of makes me think of Flannery. :p She's also Chaos with a Gambling theme of the RNG, and she's actually bad at horror usually rather than good at it, and super girly, her typing would be more like someone whose WEAK to Ghost/Dark, not strong against it, being Dark type actually makes no sense. :p She's like a Sudowoodo, her true typign is deceptive. :? Which also fits Chaos. :p).
Irys - Dark/Psychic or Dark/Fairy (I'm not too familiar with Irys but despite her fallen angel/nephilim theme, she seems extremely cute and sweet and a lot of her themes seem to focus around "hope", and she's got that crystal attack thing in Councilrys, so yeah. :p Definitely part cute "light" aligned too. :?).
Kronii - Steel/Psychic (An arguably more powerful foil to Ame, she at least would probably have this typing for real. :p A lot of the clock themes and her moves like the chains and blades in Councilrys is practically pure Steel, though the Time aspect might be a philosophical "Psychic" based concept for smart people. :p Same for Space of course. ^^;).
Sana - Psychic (maybe part Fairy) (Sana might be more pure Psychic or something but a really powerful typing otherwise as the Space girl. :p She can have hidden bonus boss status. ^^;).

Ame - Normal maybe but that would be kind of boring so Ground/Normal could be cool (nothing beats a ground pound...or Earthquake)
Irys - is absolutely Fairy/Dark
Bae - Fire/Fighting or Fire/Dark would fit pretty well to her Design but the first one is my Favorite (also did Ina just Forgot about Bae? xD)
Sana - Psychic/Rock would absolutely fit her
Kronii - she is just plain old Steel and we love her for it (with a special weakness for Spiders maby ;-))
Mumei - Dark/Flying or Dark/Normal but she has to be Dark no doubt about it
Fauna - Grass/Dragon because she is so Mystical and there is no Dragon one yet xD

Ame can be a pure Normal type that can change typings depending on the mode; Normal/Bug bee Ame, Normal/Fighting Buffson, etc
Let’s be honest Kronii and Sana are already Dialga and Palkia
Maybe Ame would be like Unknown and have lots of different variants to represent the many parallel Ames

Well, there's Kingdra, Sableye, and Spiritomb, especially Sableye and Spiritomb since they nullified three types. But when the "fairy type patch" happens, they're no longer the "no weakness" combination anymore. Sure, Kingdra still weak to dragon type, but dragon attacks aren't that easy to find back then. Steel type also used to resist nearly everything, but I kept thinking that they had to kinda nerf Aegislash somehow so they removed some resistances, specifically dark and ghost, the sole weaknesses of ghost types.
If hololive was set as pokemon who would be the legendarys? I guess Sora as cover legend and Coco, Sana, and Rushia as the trio

Calli: Mono Ghost. Probably a very hot take but hear me out: I did not assign her the dark type because, well, death as a concept is not evil. Death is just the end of a life, a part of nature. And I did not give her the fire type because I don't believe hell is neccessarily a burning pit. I also don't think there are any other types that qualify for the second type spot.
Kiara: Fire/Flying, obviously
Ina: Dark/Normal or Dark/Psychic
Gura: Mono Water.
Ame: Mono Normal, Normal/Fighting, maybe Normal/Poison (Watson Concotion)
Bae: Very tricky, probably mono Ground or, if you want to spice it up, Ground/Dark
Mumei: Flying/Normal or Flying/Dark, as chat suggested.
Kronii: Very hard. technically we already have time and space pokemon (Dialga and Palkia) so going by that she'd be Steel/Dragon but I would have given her Steel anyway for the hands of the clock. If not Mono Steel, Psychic is debatable.

Sana: Same as with Kronii, there is already Palkia. However, I don't think neither Water nor Dragon fit Sana. This is probably the hardest one to pinpoint but I would give her Flying/Fairy or Mono Fairy since fairies are very elusive creatures and since she is in space it's hard to get a hold of her.
