Can't wait
This anime fulfilled my desire for a story about a guy who returns from Isekai land
Seriously, it always bugged me that almost no one in the Isekai genre ever shows any interest in getting home to their families or loved ones or even just wanting to get back to the modern world they are familiar with.
@@MURPHYCHACHO
Only one I know of is Spirited Away which is a stand alone movie
Never watched Sword Art Online but know of it, protagonist after triumphing in digital land quickly chooses to jump into another one
Fulfilled my desires also
@@MURPHYCHACHOcuz their life sucked back in the modern world
@@maramba32most of them aren’t even bad lol
There's multiple other problems those being:
Production committees giving less time to make animes.
Anime studios need a good year to make something good and they're getting 4 to 6 months now.
Another being:
Studio executives pocketing all of the profits while the animators are living in apartments owned by the studios and are working tons of unpaid overtime
1 year is not enough time for a good profile Show either. But it's good enough for this Show. But unfortunately they don't even have this kind of time
¿¡What do you mean!?
Here's hoping the studio keeps at it; their animation style is very appealing.
I’ve seen some episodes of this show and I freakin loved the comedy in it. Uncle from another world was based even when he was oblivious about the Elf that’s following him 😂 Highly recommend watching it.
The running joke of him being taken just before the tsundere trend, and therefore not understanding it at all, is gold comedy.
I almost died when he said "not many people can see this but asuka actually liked shinji!"
I love Isekai Ojisan and it sucks that it's in development hell right now, been waiting for episode 8 for sooooooooo long
I hope they can at least finish season 1
@@christianweibrecht6555 Same, at the least
I was hoping we would hear good news about this studio doing well. They have so much to show for considering how covid handed them a mulligan.
@@CobaltContrast ikr, hopefully things turn around
@@CobaltContrast as of today there are still only 7 episodes on Netflix
11:01 Oh the Academy Awards are just *_NOW_* being slammed for treating animation like a joke when they've been doing that since they first added the animation category, *_which they only did so Disney in particular_* could win Oscars?
My dad and I love this show. We can't get enough of it.
The doom-spiral towards the end hurt me emotionally
Well the work problems are unfortunately part of a major cultural problem with Japan itself.
According to a lawyer I listened to people can easily win against companies but they'd get bullied and shafted for promotions because they're a "problem causer" their work culture is petty and fuedalistic
Okay i wasn't actually shocked until he pulled the sword out of the dark domestically storage then i was like 'okay your have my full attention' lol.

@@grimmjack they even called it nicegram lol. Thanks for looking out grimm : ).
5:19 Ah yes, daikaiju, they qualify as both terrorist attacks and natural disasters, I see what you did there.
I love the isekai ojisan! but it sad since the anime studio needed to delay it do to covid for like 1-2 months.
it's supposed to be airing the new episode tomorrow, but we'll see if that does happen~
Supposedly the covid thing was more a convenient excuse, people involved with the project indicated the whole thing was a sinking ship due to extreme mismanagement and lack of staff before the anime even started to air.
Ah, that’s why it got delayed. Was wondering why there weren’t more episodes.
Awesome vid Grimm... NOW ABRIDGE IT! FEED MY ABRIDGING ADDICTION!
Thank you for this hidden gem it shall be added to my Playlist.
Same
i love this anime the comedy is god tier the set up's and out come of the jokes are good the animation is different in a good way like it's not crisp 24/7 but the art style they picked feels good and easy on the eyes while still looking good i dunno how to explain it but if you saw the anime you understand what i mean about the animation it' hit's different and the characters are likable with simple designs i mean sometimes some of the look like they lost a couple thousand chromosomes but ay it happens ngl this and konosuba are fighting for my number 1 spot
I love the series it was funny and refreshing. Been waiting a whole lot for it to come back, been a hard long time but we finally have it back. Hopefully the quality is still as good if not better than last episode. I love sega uncle dio
Still excited for this series and can't wait to watch EP 8
I was wondering why there were so many delays for such an awesome show. I truly hope they can get back on track and give us more of Uncles adventures!
Sega is all a man needs in those times before the dreaded woooman came in the picture.🐱
I was listening with this in the background, but the Bury the Light soundclip got my eyes to the screen at hypersonic speeds.
I finished episode 1 and I was really excited but i saw they were doing a weekly release and I promised myself that I would wait until it concluded season 1. So happy that I did that because the delays woulda driven me crazy.
Thank you for making half the video about the studio conditions. It's upsetting but important to hear.
episode 8 realy shows how bad a delay in production can be for an anime, where in many scenes the character are of model and a lot of still frames, much more than in previous episodes
it's back in production?
Lovely.
Im so glad is finally back
Thanks for this.
Great video.
Loved the Uncle from Another World anime, so far I have been reading the manga of the series and I can say once when the Animators get their act together the series gets funnier.
His SEGA wisdom is priceless especially when he met a real Hedgehog in the other world.
That final space cancellation hurts me till this day
Love this series. So I've been looking forward to seeing the continuation of the series. Has the newest episode been released yet? Or does Netflix just hate my country?
To summarize. In the East (Mainly Japan) you have animators being paid less than the amount and being overworked. With them working ins studios never being able to have a social life at times. While in the west, (America/Hollywood) animation gets the treatment of it being nothing more than entertainment for kids. Due to the stigma that corporate, actors, and even their platform makes fun of. Or have projects canceled because of tax write-offs. While adult stuff has to be a Family Guy show for corporate. Because animation has to have an ugly art style for no reason. Or be “meta” for adult humor.
I love this show because any time it shows him solving a problem in the isekai world, it's exactly who you'd expect it to be solved by someone with overwhelmingly OP abilities for that world
Elf waifu: HOW DID THE CITY SHIELD COME BACK!?
Uncle: Oh, I just asked some fae spirits to make another one, they were pretty understanding when I told them why
I loved uncle from another world. Would love to see more.
Despite how bad netfix usually is at making shows Netflix makes some pretty decent anime sometimes!
The anime and the animation were amazing, especially the episode after months of delay.
I just hope the studio doesn't take a hit for the delays. cuz if you binge-watch it, you'll see this anime has one of the best animations out there on top of a great story and characters, not to mention it's really funny.
The uncle with magic reminds me of that weird guy with long hair from prison school if he grew up. And now you all will never un-see it too.
Honestly this anime deserves alot more love
4:01 MIRACULOUS!
Was hilarious, hoping for a season 2.
This is the funniest show of this year !
1:25 he's a hoot 😂😂😂
Have they aired the episode where he transform into the most fearsome creature in the universe yet? With the risk of losing himself to the chaotic power?
GRIFFITHHHHHH
Nice
an underrated anime, just love it
Holy shit, some animators make half of what I made at god damn Wendy's.
This guy is me if I didn’t have a filter. Although I don’t. HAHAHAHAH.
Coming in from the cap'ns orders
Saint Nicholas' remains were recently found in a coastal village in Turkey.
Santa...died.
Dude I’m so pissed about close enough I wasn’t done watching it and poof gone
They're not ready for this profile pic.
Oh Grimmjack, you ARE internet famous. Just not rich. LOL
I don't get why anime is animated as the episodes are coming out instead of just doing the season first then showing it.
Isekai ojisan abridged coming soon?
BRO I WOULD LOVE THAT OMG
I hope this company recovers

If you really want to act smart, try writing an essay about the intellectual similarities between the original John Carter of Mars series to Isekai Ojisan. 😂
John Carter is the OG Isekai.
The manga is soooo good
I will address this issue. But i need control. Once i have it. This issue will no longer exist. An people who do art will have their dreams come true.
Literally the best anime from last season...yes.
Better than: Call of the Night, CYBERPUNK: EDGERUNNERS or Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun
The only problem is Netflix pulled the same stunt that Crunchyroll has been pulling: talk a big game about how animators should be paid a fair salary and then reneged on actually following through. Considering the facts that exist on how not-so-deadly certain viruses have been during the past two years, the idea that production was halted due to illness is laughable if not inexcusable. The animators were quitting in droves, refusing to come to work, and the higher-ups were adamant in blaming something convenient.
Sure..That Uncle Dude.😎
Grimmjack: He banged somebody, right?
Me: I mean, not consciously...
Well, his clothes weren't ruffled.
Why does the guy look like a Japanese ozzy ozbourne
Luckily there is normally an act of God clause. Covid covers this.
I love how his show suffer from Sega's curse.
Well....shit eh...
I don't know if you're looking for feedback on these videos or if my feedback is representative of anyone else's experience, but I feel like your presenter persona is dialed up a bit too high both in energy and in commitment to some of the jokes. The editing is good, the script is good (jokes are a little hit-or-miss tho), the information is good, but the faux energy is just a bit too high for me to really want to watch any more videos of this format. Just my two cents. Love Goblin Slayer Abridged though!
I enjoy the energy. But here’s a tip (in all seriousness I’m not being sarcastic). When a presenter energy is too high or too fast for me I watch the video at 0.75 speed.
I tried it for a bit with this before recommending to you and it works.
In case you really enjoy the content but are looking for a slightly less excited vibe.
:))
@@thinkofsomethingcooler I frequently speed up videos to 1.5 to 2x speed for channels which seem to dance around the point and draw out video lengths, but I never actually thought about slowing one down in order to improve the experience. Thanks for the tip and food for thought!
@@Hotshot2k4 yw! I actually got the idea from friends who like you speed things up to “get to the good parts”. I instead speed things up to make them danceable! Lol
Mmmmm, SEGA.
Spoiler: He's still a virgin so yeah no banging happened
Sigh.... 8:09 I will start with, I AM NOT DEFENDING SHITTY PRACTICES LIKE THIS. With that in mind, I would just like to point out that shit like this occurs in every industry. Someone is always getting under paid, or fucked over somewhere along the line. I read through that article, and I notice that it makes no mention of the fact that frequently all of their housing, transportation, and medical costs are taken care of. The median income for them is roughly equal to $35-36 thousand.
Assuming an insane amount of bills for a single person in Tokyo, Japan, like literally 2 peoples worth of bills, they would pay around $600 a month. Additionally, assuming they are eating fairly expensive food, that's around $1500 a month, again totally insane unrealistic amount in Tokyo the most expensive city in Japan. Finally $300 for a new outfit every month, again insane, unrealistic amount, even for Tokyo, the most fucking expensive city in Japan. After factoring all of that together, they would still be able to save $500 a month, AKA $6,000 a year working as an animator on average.
Saying that it's just the anime industry is ridiculous, every industry has bad actors.
The fact that it occurs at all is terrible. Waving it off like this, saying, 'this is just how it is,' doesn't help at all.
@@Darkgun231 And this is why I said "I AM NOT DEFENDING SHITTY PRACTICES LIKE THIS" 🤦♂
I'm saying that it's not just the anime industry. It's a problem across the board, in EVERY industry.
With all these delays maybe somebody will get their head out of their rear end and actually put it in english. I don't mean with English subtitles and I don't mean with Japanese audio description, I'm talking about an English dub, if it has English audio description it gets brownie points but no anime does because for some reason we have the ability to give it Japanese audio description for everybody who doesn't speak Japanese in America yet for the actual blind people that are the majority of them English speakers no audio description, I'm not going to lie I could not care less about anime unless it has a dub and even then it has to entice me. Does it sound fascinating? Yeah but I don't care I'm blind therefore I can't watch Japanese nor would I want to, if it comes over here make it in English with a dub or don't come over here at all
spoiler alert: ...no.
