I own this pedal. The thing I don't like is a constant continuous background noise when it's turned on. Particularly when I use it with a tube saturation amp. Something that doesn't happen to me with other boost pedals that are much less famous and cheaper than this one. Honestly, I'm amazed by this thing. I'm sorry for my english
I would consider the "color" mode mostly useless on bass - you lose all low end. The "amp" mode is pretty incredible though; warm, full and low-end rich. Great addition if you want a richer response from a solid state amp to get you into tube-like warmth. Stacks well after other drive pedals too. Jazz bass into an SFT with the Prism boost after and I turned my solid state Ampeg into a classic B15 tone and response. Have yet to try it on my tube amps though.

this demo was actually a lot more helpful than the one the guys from jackson did with hendroff. definitely looking to get this for my next purchase
