We Have NEVER Seen Anything Like This... - Oshi No Ko Episode 6 REACTION
Akane's vegetarianism is more of a diet than a moral choice
The show is about to cause a legit tsunami next ep
Broke the internet.
I think this one is more like the tsunami one
Yeah…we weren’t ready
show biz + teenagers + internet, can't go more toxic than this combo
Sad truth
Amazing for a hangover, though.
honestly this episode is one of the best episodes I've watched in any media period, masterpiece
This series is a msster class of showing you how the entertainment industry is
I feel like partly why Aqua was there to save Akane was because he was a doctor so he had some education about psychology and maybe he had some kind of hunch what could happen because of the online comments and from their group chat where he could see how Akane was reacting etc. (I could be wrong though).
There is a Japanese entertainer that went through a similar thing and ended up dying, whether it's directly based on that or it's just a coincidence no one really knows, and when this episode airs the mother put out a complaint for reminding her of her daughter's tragedy and ironically people ends up harassing her like they didn't learn anything from the episode
I think the author confirmed that it was just a coincidence.
Your reactions are really enjoyable. The banter, the thought process, everything.
If I remember correctly Akane's situation is based on a real story from Japan, very similar, but without Aqua's last second save.
I don't know any particular name or story, but I swear I must've seen quite a number of such stories in Japan. As a tourist destination, Japan is awesome, but I certainly can't imagine living under the pressure and need to conform and not stand out.
The author already said this is not true because that incident is not unique.
This is a great episode that’s based on true events. It led to the Japanese government introducing laws against online harassment.
Oshi no Ko will give you whiplash from showing you the cutesy idol culture, to the intricacies of relationships between people in showbiz, to suddenly *this*
This episode is inspired by hana kimura. She also joined a reality show and sa herself. Some fans of the shows harassed her mother as she commented that some media is using the death of her daughter, which is being used as a free source material. Which is so ironic
Akane is NOT vegetarian. That's a translation mistake.
She said she has the spirit of dedication & still have a lot to learn, that's why she is the one cooking meat for the others.
Akena isn't a small upcoming star. She's quite an established actor, but more so in stage plays. This reality TV show biz, however, is new to her.
Bro it's not revealed yet💀
Stop spoiling the show
@onyacharles3075 Oh piss off. This isn't a spoiler in any shape or form. It's a small tidbit to clear up the mischaracterization of her character, which comes up soon anyway.
The fact that this is from a real story makes it even sadder….but the person who experienced the same thing didnt have a aqua to save her..💔
RIP Hana Kimura 😔
This ep is so good man. I remember watching it the first time.
Breaks my heart every time.
We had to much goofyness last episode time to remind us of what this show is realisticly dark.
In Japan, there are several idol groups whose members keep changing as time goes on. One of the oldest groups, Morning Musume, have been around since the late 90s, is still around…but the first generation is the best, IMHO.
And Akane as a character only gets better from here on out.
Most managers in Japan acts lile a parent figure to their workers. It's more often in Japan than here.
INFO: This literally happened to one of the person in real life but unfortunately she didnt had Aqua in her life. May her soul rest in peace.
So the reuse of the group name will not bring as much criticism as you would think for multiple reasons.
#1 The group B-Komamchi continued on after Ai's death for a while but eventually decided to break up because she was the "glue" that held the group together.
#2 It is actually common for a new group to inherit a previous groups name because that is justification to use the old songs, creating an eras of [insert band name here] thing.
#3 Strawberry Productions would no doubt say that "Ruby loved Ai and was a massive fan who wanted to inherit the name in her memory, not to mention while they can't expose her being Ai's child they can actually say we were so busy that Ai actually was our babysitter most of the time so these kids spent the beginning of their lives thinking of Ai as a second mother, then they could bring up that Ai was watching the children on the day of her death something that no doubt was in the police report which would inspire some fans to think "If anyone will inherit and carry on her legacy it should be the kids she helped raise."
Some things I have to say about bands that are reactivated. Currently Linkin Park with new singer Emily Armstrong and new drummer is quite a thing. They even appear in League Of Legends.😂
As for this episode. 13:45 Akane made a mistake and in that moment I realized how much I connect with her. She really is kind and hardworking girl. Just like me, but I'm a man. 😂 Great reaction!😃
I'm enjoying watching it
I will stand by the boss side, his whole rant was directed to the manager that screwed this up, As i understand the proposal probably was made to the agency and the manager pitched for Akane despite she not being well suited for this kinda of exposition. He also makes no move in guiding her in the context of the reality-show or the backlash that she surfers. even more if the agency has other talents that can better use this opportunity. he saying that will protect her is pathetic
Unfortunately, this episode was loosely based on the suicide of Hana Kimura, she was a female wrestler who took part in a reality TV show and due to her portrayal on it was bullied online until she took her own life
AFAIK vegan in asia isn't like vegan in the west. It's not really political/social movement, or some kind of moral statements.
Some people just doesn't like the taste of meat so they doesn't eat them. I'm one of them.
REACT TO CLASSROOM OF THE ELITE❤❤🎉
What a terrible mistranslation! The mistranslations are so bad I wonder if the translator doesn't understand Japanese at all.
Akane is not a vegetarian. She never said so.
She says that because she is still training to be an actress, she always makes sure to be considerate of those around her even at mealtimes.
Akane used the Japanese word "shojin," which means "in training."
This "shojin" is originally a Buddhist term, and "shojin food" refers to vegetarian food, so the translator must have made a mistake.
Either way, it's a terrible mistranslation, because Japanese people would never interpret it that way.
You need to remember everyone else in the reality show are just high school teenagers but aqua deep down is still 30+ with much more experience. They might be worried about Akane but Aqua is the one who can immediately pick up and understand the changes in her mental state and what it could lead to
he is not only older (after all Memcho as the oldest of the cast was worried as well) but he is also a former doctor and prob knows at least some bits about psychology to realize what is happening
@@calronkeltaran493 he is a labour/women's doctor so i didn't mention it because i am not sure as to how much psychology the major has
he might have studied some in the beginning before going for the specific field
@@Hronika-kw5pl I'm also not sure how medicine study goes in this field but I would assume, that he at least knows the basics. he has shown using psycologie before when he explained how he reads kana and made her join B-Komachi or how he knows how to talk with elders. even tho that was something he picked up later, he seems analytical enough so recognize those things
@calronkeltaran493 I'm just not going into the topic of psychology deeper because I might accidentally spoil something, but yes
Trying to keep it simple and spoiler free to the max
@@Hronika-kw5pl fair enough. for this, I also only mentioned stuff that we know so far as both my examples are from Ep 1-2
The description says episode 7 you silly gooses
My bad I will admit it this time😂 - Prez
@@CaraPrezReactsHonest mistake
Please upload the reaction of the kaguya sama movie in youtube also
Aqua is one of the worst and one of the best characters in this show 😅 (worst because of his manipulation)
Yeah and kisse his own sister 🤢
@@Brainfocus81 well to be fair it was the sister who kissed him, he didn’t want to do it nor even thought of doing it🤷♂️😅
@@Random_Python well he did... for a film scene, so that doesn't realy count
also @Brainfocus81 get over it
@@Brainfocus81 thanks for the spoilers jackass
