For the alignment, you can save time by clicking on the box and the slice and align right and then do the same thing on the other half and align right and they won't move from their placement other than moving left or right. Also, when I'm slicing this much, I create one slicing shape and then copy it as many times as needed so I don't have to keep creating them over an over. Lastly, you can delete directly from the layers board by right clicking and selecting delete - for that one it just depends on how comfortable you are with doing that. I think you did a great job describing your process - you have an excellent voice for this =)
Thank you for this! I need to try it now :). My one suggestion - when you are moving one half over to the other side, you can use your arrow key. Just highlight what you want to move, and then click the arrow key on your keyboard - it will move the highlighted section straight either left to right or up and down, whichever way you want to move it. Then you don't have to worry about it being out of alignment :). Great job!!

This was so stinking cool and very well explained. Thank you, I only wish you would've taken it further or will you do another video to explain why you meant by cutting the different colors? if they re all attached its just that color white and black. Thank you. I love the way you explain things and show on your computer. appreciate you so much.
This is for the double sided sticky tape method. Most use double sided sticky tape sheets. it all comes out on one sheet. You then peel each area individually and glitter.
I’m going to make another version where things are more “layered” maybe that the kind people are calling the burst? Idk. I’ll have it uploaded tomorrow. The process is slightly different

My images are not working. By not working I mean when I weld them the detail goes away and the only thing left is just a shape. Even when I use the same image (which is a print then cut), it's detail goes away. So what type of image should we use? My image was originally a flat image used as a print then cut. I changed the image to have layers and made it a svg. Both images when I weld them everything goes away except for the outline shape. Thanks in advance for your help and advice.
Love love love. Question. What settings do you use to cut the pattern. I tried and used double sided and less pressure and it still cut threw to the other side of the double sided

@@sbvaughn1980 I haven’t. I had a live scheduled tonight. It’s my Monday. Hopefully I’ll have time tomorrow evening. you have to slice one layer at a time. It’s a pain. But you can’t weld them to slice, it has to be done piece by piece.

Hide everything except for one layer at a time. Weld them all together and then hide it do the next layer and weld. After all layers are welded it should allow you to slice them. If not something likely didn’t weld and two shapes are touching so it won’t let you slice it.
@@erintryon9418 you can change the color but even if they were all the same color it will still cut the other layers. To chance the color on the top left hand side where it says cut/print cut/ something like that. There will be a small box next to it. Click that box and choose a different color

@InCinidy you can screenshot/or use snip it tool and save it. Then open the web and search remove.bg (free background removal) it's saves image as a PNG. But you can use free SVG converter upload the image with background removed to convert it to whatever file you need. Hope this helps. TFS this tutorial! Gonna try it.

Washi (more)
Can I ask what setting you use when you actually cut? I have the maker!

When aligning your squares for slicing, it easier to use your x and y coordinates to line them up.

Do you use this same process to create the burst tumblers that have images layered overtop of each other?
It’s similar. I planned on doing one of those too but just haven’t had a chance. I’ll try the beginning of the week to get one done.

I’m confused on the offset… why is it needed?
The offset creates the outer layers that form around your shapes giving you the option for more color outlines to give the illusion of layers
