Legend has it that they fondly call Angelina "the boss" - she is the prime mover regarding the musical arrangements, something she apparently manages with humility and charm. There is a video available of a practice session with her and this band, wallowing in another Screaming Jay Hawkins song, a slow number originally called something like "I'm painting a portrait of a man" - and because Angelina is only 9, her version of the lyrics is something along the lines of "I'm painting a portrait - in oil - of a child". Her interactions with these superb musicians is priceless! You have to understand Norwegian to follow it - in some clips English subtitles are available. She may be only a 9-year old tiny little poppet of a girl, but she is SO on level with these accomplished jazz musicians!
