M+ Secondary School Programmes

M+ Secondary School Programmes are co-designed by the museum’s learning and interpretation curators, educators, and school teachers, which are results of inter-professional collaboration for student learning. Our programmes include M+ Collections Related Tours and Workshops, and M+ Special Exhibition Programmes, which aim to inspire a different kind of museum learning in students, particularly in the exploration of the creative aspects of visual culture, whereby students will learn more about themselves, and see the interconnections amongst the self, the society, the nation and the world. Students are invited to seek out potential changes in their daily lives, and in this process reflect upon and question the preconceived notions that have confined their views on themselves and the society. In coming up with surprising responses, they participate actively in creating the ever-changing era of our times.
