I enjoy your informative videos. I underwent gastric sleeve surgery back in 2016 and since then had a baby. I have to admit that I have not been consistent with exercise nor limiting of carb intake. I am currently 10 pounds over my ideal weight but listening to your videos has sparked my motivation to limit my carbohydrate intake and increase my physical activity. I have since lost 5 pounds and only 5 more to go. Your videos are motivational and play a fundamental role in educating our community. We appreciate you. All the way from Miami…. Hello 👋

Shit gets REAL after the first year lOl I recently marked my 2 year post op gastric sleeve lOl ...Just remind yourself of how life was when you were over weight & that'll keep you going forward to being a successful bariatric patient TRUST Me never get too comfortable with your sleeve & your food choices, don't drink your calories either meaning you might be not eating ass much but you might be drinking way too much sugary beverages!.....

Excellent info on ALL videos. Nice to know the low point then leveling out I’ve gained back 10-12 pounds and for sure realize the carbs are the problem. I really enjoy jogging and treadmill 4-5 days a week. Thanks so much for your help and information!

I gained all my weight back but it was because I went through some very difficult mental problems after my surgery. Working on getting the weight off. I’ve considered a revision but I think I will do it on my own.

@@jonnyfranco7 I lost 80 pounds to begin with and each year since have gained 10-15 (20 during lockdown) since to have officially gained it all back in 5 years...(I lost and kept it all off for 2 years in the beginning.
If you do EXACTLY what Dr. A says pre-op AND post op. - you will lose it and keep it off.
      If you CHOOSE to NOT:
      • cut down the carbs to 30 per day
      • drink 64 ozs of water daily
      • exercise daily (just go on a walk!)
      • be mindful of liquid and melted calories (chocolate, ice cream, sodas, juices, etc.)
      You will gain weight back.
If you do not dig in and find your triggers and boundaries with food - you will gain it back.
I am moving past the disappointment and berating of myself to work on ALL of those afore mentioned items to be able to use this amazing tool to help me lose it again.

I had VSG in 2019 because I was trying to have a baby and I have PCOS. I was told that WLS could help regulate my hormones and give me a better chance of getting pregnant. It worked I loss 85lbs and got pregnant about 1 1/2 later. My son was just born 4 months ago. My question how do I jump start my weight loss again??? It seems super hard to lose weight now, I have absolutely no energy and I gained 35lbs being pregnant. Help!!!
