Canadian beauty back in working order! I absolutely love steam, when I heard about the last spike excursion tour I was very excited, but also because after so long this gem of Canadian railway engineering is back in service as she so rightfully deserves! Truly an absolutely amazing catch! 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Thank gawd she made it safely back to Canada! May she never go back down there again. When I heard in early May she was going to be in Winnipeg on public display June 29th I immediately booked my hotel room. I drove the 435 miles to Winnipeg on the 28th and on the morning of the 29th headed over to Jarvis Avenue to view her. She wasn't there! Just an empty parking lot! Apparently, the public display had been changed to July 6th. Oh well, at least I got to enjoy a "World Famous" foot-long hotdog at Skinners! lol Maybe next time.
Magnificent catches of the trains coming by and pass, I like it 5 stars. Thumbs up. Keep up the perfect work, my friend, Greetings from Portugal to the USA.

It seems like the crew enjoys blowing that 6 Chime more and more at 10:16. Good video my man! Also, when they added CP 7013 on the train it was at Shreveport, LA on the southbound trip. I got to see that when they were traveling down on the former KCS Beaumont Sub. (Just thought I’d point that out lol) It was amazing!
They added 7013 due to their experience on the run through Rich Mountain. If you see videos of that run, boy I tell you, the two FP9s were STRAINING to haul the train through that mountain.
@@kristoffermangila oh yea and ironically, 2816 conquered that mountain with ease. Even though she was more or less built for fast flatland running than running up ruling grades like Rich Mountain
You couldn't blame them... its the first time in living memory that a steam locomotive have run in Mexico, the only time any Mexican saw a steamer is on YT, so its understandable that those Mexicans were... overzealous.
@@spitfirenutspitfirenut4835 you kinda are. Telling people they should be ashamed of themselves of something they weren't exactly aware of, ur putting people in a bad light that they don't deserve.

That’s just one in 1 million site to see when CP steam locomotive went from Alberta to Mexico 🤯🤯🤯🤯😍😍
You captured some of the best angular shots I've ever watched. Excellent camera work young gun.
Thanks Christopher! Glad you enjoyed.

Awesome videos my friend! 😊.I caught her at Halama drive at the floodway. About 20 railfans were hanging out there, including Steve Boyco!
Glad you got to see her!
I knew you were gonna catch her at some point. Nice job at filming the Empress in her full might! ❤️👍😎
Welcome back CP'S old lady

The CP Empress is probably just happy she is as far away she is from her nightmare...México.
Mexico should be ashamed of how they acted
@@spitfirenutspitfirenut4835 way too harsh buddy

Kinda Weird To See Ditch Lights On A Steam Locomotive
Hey @TheWinnipegRailfan do you happen to railfan the Norfolk Southern Erie District or the CSX Erie West Subdivision just south of Buffalo, NY?
I haven't been anywhere near there (yet) lol
CP 2816, return to Canada from Mexico
Again, the SD70ACU is more interesting.
😑
I mean, sorta
Zesty diesel Foamer ahh comment
Altona is old home
She is traumatized by "the mexico incident" as I will call it.
at least there weren't any furries 😂
Lmao whattt
Yeah, it’s too bad. It doesn’t come to the eastern part of Canada.
It will soon! I'm sure of it
Why did they remove the ditch lights in the first place
Not sure, all I know is that it's not mandated to have them on once it gets into the US.
@@TheWinnipegRailfan Probably removed them because they would have been stolen from a Mexican, even with the train still moving.
hey guess what
