In my opinion, there were 6 games that made it cool and dope to play Playstation and N64 in the late 90s. I mean there were others, but these are the 6 best for N64 and Playstation combined. Resident Evil 2, Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, Final Fantasy VII, GoldenEye 007, and Syphonfilter.
Still amazed the series has not been remastered yet, still one of the best games that was made. Played them countless times, these were proper games with decent levels, characters and story by game companies who put heart and sole into it and not just money.

The running was so fluid for it’s time. god I remember this like it was yesterday. Back when just being a kid and playing PlayStation was all I had to worry about!
Always love looking back into the past of videogames. Interesting to see how games design has changed and evolved from back then. Interesting to note that apparently level design hadn't clocked onto the notion of realistic architecture yet. The cathedral, for instance, is just an oversized building full of rooms which serve no purpose, and is maze-like for the sake of being maze-like. Gabe comments on not having a way to the ground floor, yet clearly there must be a way, else all the goons and scientists wouldn't be up there themselves, because how would they get up there? Alas, back then, (being before Deus Ex, Rainbow 6 and I believe System Shock showed us that realistic architecture can still be fun gameplay), if players were told 'it's a cathedral' and the walls look remotely similar to how we'd expect a cathedral to look, we all just ignored the gamey architecture and play the game, whereas these days, try that and people would whine about unrealistic level design. Good or bad?
I remember playing this as a kid but dying 30 times before completing some of the levels, you make it look easy though this games does bring back old memories. Enjoyed watching.
TVTestKitchen Even when I played it back in the days I have no idea how people could make that connection. I enjoyed both since the gameplay is entirely different.
+PIX Promos & More syphon filter was the other main game besides metal gear i played a huge a lot of even now i still play it i still have my copies of syphon filter on the ps1
+PIX Promos & More games weren't even close, MGS is a tactical stealth strategy style whereas Syphon Filter was a paced shoot-em-up. Plus in MGS, you have a much wider array of weapons and gadgets to utilize as opposed to SF1 where you use guns, taser, flashlight, and nightvision
“Nostalgia--its delicate, but potent. Teddy told me that in Greek nostalgia literally means 'the pain from an old wound.' It’s a twinge in your heart far more powerful than memory alone."
Man this game brings back fond memories of countless hours spent on the first PlayStation. Love the fact that the time to complete your main objective didn’t change even when additional objectives were added out of nowhere, which gave the game an added level difficulty “on the fly.” For it’s time, game mechanics were tight and it gave you the three basic food groups that make a great game - platforming, puzzle solving and action. Dope!

I remember playing this game, except I only had it on a demo disc lol, I was like 9yrs old and I would always play it.. repeating the same short ass demo, that's how fun it was.
Same. Would spend tons of time playing this demo and the Duke Nukem Time to Kill demo.
😂 me too! Munching on hot cheetos ☺
In right with you
I did the same thing too haha!
I'm watching this to bring back childhood memories of me and a dear friend who is no longer in this world! RIP my friend ....I will hold dearly to our childhood fond memories upon which we spent endless hours playing such games drinking pop eating chips laughing and having fun just innocent kids! forever missed my dear friend my brother God be with you MASI QAYUMI!
God bless you I’m praying for you
Hard to believe it's been, what? 23 years since this came out? Hell's bells!
But I remember having a blast with it.
my favorite game back in the days you had to just love the taser
I'm just seeing now
In my opinion, there were 6 games that made it cool and dope to play Playstation and N64 in the late 90s. I mean there were others, but these are the 6 best for N64 and Playstation combined.
Resident Evil 2, Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, Final Fantasy VII, GoldenEye 007, and Syphonfilter.
Crash bandicoot three
Tekken 3 and metal gear solid. ✌️
Still amazed the series has not been remastered yet, still one of the best games that was made. Played them countless times, these were proper games with decent levels, characters and story by game companies who put heart and sole into it and not just money.
Damn, don't put soles into games...
It's on ps5!
@@thegamingprozone1941really?!
That 989 Studio intro use to scare me when I was a kid lol.
Bruh he had the coolest run the way his legs just sway 😂😂😂😂
I would try to run like that lmao
Facts lmaooo
When i thought i was the only one who thought this
He runs like he’s wearing diapers.
@Shane Douglas lol for real huh
Man I used to LOVE this game back in 8th grade! Super nostalgic for me. One of my favorite levels to play over and over was the one where you're running through the park in the rain. I loved thr atmosphere. I wish they'd remake these games someday!
Same! That one felt like the first legit stealth experience in 3D video games. So amazing
This brings back so many memories of me and my dad staying up and taking turns on this!!!
Same here man me and my dad loved this shit !
Man your dad must be really cool my dad never held a controller in his life
@@mrrlambo8157 Yeah, he's a heavy gamer. Since Atari. He bought my first console on my sixth birthday. I got a Sega instead of Barbies.😆 I love him for it, cause Iove videogames and so do my sons.
This game was great. I would love a remake of this. I remember that taser.
I'm 35 and I loved this game, brings back great Dad memories! , I miss u Dad😭
This game was my shit back in the day I even remember the day I bought it all those years ago...
Memories.
I just realized after all of these years how long this game was. When I played this as a kid, I thought the first 20 minutes of the game was the entire game. I guess I just never knew how to get past to the next part. I feel like an idiot.
You're half right. You had the demo. So did I. It came with the game. With tomb Raider and crash
We are too spoiled in today's age when it comes to the video game realm.
This Is One Of My All Time FAVORITE GAMES As A Child Growing Up Late 80’s & 90’s . And Being in High School 2001. Good times! Love this Game
Doctor: Don´t shoot i am unarmed .
Logan : Heashot!
PTF Rodrigues don’t shoot! I’m not armed. Please! Please don’t kill me. I’m not armed.... repeat. Repeat lol
10 mile misxilefire. Activa8rec.

just bought a ps2 just to play and relive this game. Unbelievable good story and graphics for 23 years old.
I used to play this when I was 9 omg

Youngbl00d I was about 7 😂 lmao
I was either 5 or 6. I didn't know what the fuck to do right at the beginning. I was just waiting to see if more enemies would drop by.
me 6 XD
Lol same
I remember playing this as a kid but dying 30 times before completing some of the levels, you make it look easy though this games does bring back old memories. Enjoyed watching.
Name Last bro I literally couldn’t get passed the 3rd level in this game
This unlocked so many memories, like the fact that I never went past the first part because I was a kid and didn’t know where to go 🤣
Dude, it took me and my brother literal days to figure out the first mission 😂
Who else only had the demo and played this first level so much the game CD burnt
30:29 I don't know why but something about this just cracks me up.
"No sympathy. Only 40mm."
Best game ever
They need to make a movie of this, Siphon Filter, with lead actor Gabe Logan, Lian Zing and teresa, that would be epic! i loved this game
This game made me fall in love with the M-16. Beautiful nostalgia. :)
Thanks for all the walk throughs!!!! Your channel is my friend on slow nights at work!!!!
unforgettable game for 90s kids... 🔥 ♥️
They should reboot this for the ps4.
I know miss these games also the metal gear
SNAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE !!
Agreed. There were so many good franchises on ps1 and ps2 that need to come back.
Even Toshinden as well...! :)
AJTComicsBrand this game studio is working on Days gone, it will come to PS4 in 2017 or 2018
I love all the syphonfilter games man, brings back memories!
I'm watching just now
This game, this entire franchise needs to make it to the next gen consoles, FFS. Imagine that rainy park mission in 4k.
This game is my all time favorite I remeber playing this on my PlayStation 1 I miss this game so much :(
I loved this game..but damn I hated the catacombs mission with a passion lol
This game brings back so many memories. Thank you for the gameplay. I miss this, graphics and all lol.
Good GOD, I used to Love this Game! I don't care if some people dismissed this as a "Metal Gear" Lite, this was Fun...Especially with the Cheat Codes.
TVTestKitchen Even when I played it back in the days I have no idea how people could make that connection. I enjoyed both since the gameplay is entirely different.
+Dfactor Longplays did you do a playthrough of mgs 1 i'd watch the shit outta that
+PIX Promos & More syphon filter was the other main game besides metal gear i played a huge a lot of even now i still play it i still have my copies of syphon filter on the ps1
Couldn't agree more cheats codes where fun the guy in the subway was a pain in the ass
This Game Deserve A Remake Or Made Into A Movie Franchise!!!!
No remakes. Ever. Stop it. You're fucking gaming in the ass.
“Nostalgia--its delicate, but potent. Teddy told me that in Greek nostalgia literally means 'the pain from an old wound.' It’s a twinge in your heart far more powerful than memory alone."
This game brings me so much joy! Thank you man! Oh, I miss the good old days...
I would love to see a reboot of this.
Would probably just end up looking like Splinter Cell
There is a newer version
The music alone brings back so many memories. I would just sit and shock everybody , over and over and over. Great times!
Im still wondering till this day why does he couch every time he answer the call
TheSteven123321bbgbg 😂
Obviously all that running causing him leg cramps.
I used to think those cinematics had the most amazing graphics ever. 😂 Now graphics have well exceeded that.
Dope!
"Gabe, why don't you shoot the giant panes of glass before diving through them?"
"Because then this cutscene wouldn't make any sense..."
Can confirm. Even if you do shoot them, it does nothing to them.
DAMN im old... :D
+RulerL0rd Well we getting older not younger so myb. :D
Syphon Filter

I had totally forgotten about this game. The sounds and tracks brought back so many memories. Thank you🍻👍🏼
This game was the shit when I was a teenager. Loved every part of it.
My favorite game! I could play it again after 20 years later :) i miss it
This might seem crazy, but I'm almost in tears watching this video!!
This game (and other similar ones) were my childhood! I don't know how many hours I spent playing this, and at that time these were the most amazing graphics!
Definitely some core memories have been unlocked 😭
