i like how you make sure to explain the perfect hydroponics every time, even tho theres like 8 different ways to do it and they will all waste 4 spaces
The blood moon event is caused by VXE:Sanguophages. A machine that is also added is a draincasket, which automatically harvests hemogen from it's inhabitants while also keeping them alive so long as it is provided a food stockpike

[7:45] Thats absolutely terrifying. I also had to deal with one of those massive infestations but it was a large infestation (Vanilla Expanded Faction - Insectoids) meaning I had to fight off a Insectoid queen, megapedes and gigalocusts, that was around 100+ insectoids. That paintful experience made me disable all kinds of infestations besides the drill infestation.
I remember I had an infestation I didnt take care of in time. And when I built some molotovs to burn them all since they were in a cave I realised the roof had holes in it and that wouldnt work. Then a few raids happend and I was struggling quite badly so I forgot about the Insects. When I looked back there were two queens a few big hives and like 20 small hives. and around 250 insects. I'm not going to lie I had to save scum this fight because I literally died twice trying to get rid of them and I didnt want to lose this colony.
@@notirishrider7953 Completely understandable save scum. Insectoids are probably the hardest faction to deal with. They have armor like the mecanoids, they have powerful jaw attacks that can rip off limbs in one hit and the most importantly: the numbers. Thanks for sharing your experience, I love reading stories about other people's colonies.

Just have enough bodies, enough automatic firepower, incendiaries and explosives to throw at the problem.

You can optimize power prediction with 12 solar panels per windmill in a 888W888 fashion. 8= solar and W = windmill

Could you show how you are dealing with ammo that pawns grab.
My pawns mostly grab as much as they can and full their capacity
You can set how much ammo they should carry in loadout settings
@@Westheimer836 but it takes so much time that making loadout for each weapon and assign it also some times I like to have medic or something that is not in loadout which brings more problems as they won't carry it

@@user-jp2yv3op2z yes, it does take time. like maybe a minute or two. then you're done and dont have to do it again for that loadout. seriously just take a moment to do it and get all the management stuff done. its not that hard
@@user-jp2yv3op2z That is why you make some standart loadout and apply the same weapons for it. Using the same equipment and weapons on multiple pawns makes logistics of everything easier.
So using a specifc MG or rifle on multiple pawns and have them use the same weapon. This also makes ammo management easier since everyone uses the same caliber.
Loadouts are highly useful. You can apply basicly anything to them.
So I let them carry two types of ammo, a gun and combat drugs like yayo or go-juice.
This lets you create specifc roles like machine gunners, snipers and the like.

I don’t craft ammo with CE I only use what’s dropped by my enemies so on 500% it ads a whole new level of brain damage 😂
I hope you keep a varied arsenal to use up all the weird, wonderful, exotic or stupid calibers those people drop.
