- The Department of Public Safety is partnering with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources to help target and stop aggressive drivers during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
The SC Department of Natural Resources will provide aerial enforcement support to our troopers and officers on major interstates on November 22 and November 26, 2023.
Wanna stop tailgating and weaving, enforce the passing lane law. Too many people like to sit in the far left lane and hold up traffic, which forces others to tailgate and or to weave around others.
Exactly- if they would enforce the passing lane law, you wouldn’t have people switching lanes to get around the slow drivers too concerned with their phone/makeup/lunch to be concerned with the 20 cars trapped behind them for 15 miles. So now just punish the people who have figured a way around to deal with LE not doing their jobs in the first place. Maybe it’s best to just go to jail for what you really want to do to the slow drivers in the first place…
you cannot drive faster than speed limit on the left lane anyway. it takes time to pass a vehicle who is driving 1 mph below the speed limit. Also, your PATHETIC excuse of people "figuring a way around" is just shocking. Your entitled thinking that people has no move over when there is a car behind is wrong, supported by you implied in your last sentence. @@kristiekennedy9604
I don't answer questions, i don't consent to searches or seizures, what's your name & badge number?, get me your supervisor, kick rocks pig, am i being detained or am i free to go?
No you’re going to jail for refusing to comply
Woah, GED lawyer here. Clearly if you're stopped you're detained
Doesnt work like that@@kennethrogers1129
I feel packing cars with distractions in the form of entertainment systems has caused untold chaos on our roadways.
Before anyone mentions older cars lacking those systems, in most cases people provide thier own.
( You bring your smart phone, your bluetooth speaker. I've even seen people stream movies while driving on thier tablet.)
Combine this with modern cars being so easy to drive its like driving a multi ton golf cart around at 70mph.
In my grandparents generation with so many vehicles being manual for example it forced you to be more attentive while driving. This freed up their attention on the roadways for other activities such as drinking, or discharging firearms at road signs. ( Times have changed).
As a youth I understand I was lucky being able to practice driving in a rural area and appreciate how dangerous a collision can be.
Via human nature often you don't learn until you get wacked which in this case is until you wreck and get injured.
Even that isn't enough for some prople however.
Get it!
modern highway pirates. Not some bs serve and protect but cite and collect
"To target aggressive (and dangerous) drivers". So... each other then. And poor people in old cars. Gotcha.
Thats intrapment
😂😂😂😂
Drive like you should and you won’t be intraped.
Go look up the definition…. Come on dude…
Bwahahahahaha! Now this was funny!
Glad to see some action on offensive drivers
