When you are up to remove the removable wallpaper from your island make sure to use heat, a hair dryer or a heat gun and it should help to soften the glue and provide an easier remove and less residue ;)

If you ever get a stain on any porous material, Barkeeper's Friend Foam spray...spray, let it sit awhile, then wash. Sometimes I need to do that 2 to 3 times, but raised 7 kids and it's never let me down. The place looks perfect for you. I love the entry cabinet. Your dresser, even if years from now you get married, get a new bedroom set, that would work well in a child's room, a child's playroom, an office, a dining room, etc., so a good purchase.

Try heating up the wallpaper with your hair dryer before you take it off.
You could look into sealing your table so it's more stain resistant with a grout sealant.
