In late 2015 I went with the NZXT Source 530 and still love it to this day. But, when I was in the market for a new Full Tower case, I could not find any from NZXT anymore that I liked. And here Phanteks still is with its 2014 Enthoo Pro still selling like hotcakes. I picked up the 2018 Tempered Glass version and I'm very happy. Sorry NZXT but you lost a customer this generation.
After some research theres an enthoo mid tower and full tower that look very simillar. NOTE TO ANYONE BUYING THIS, MAKE SURE YOU GET THE FULL TOWER IF YOU WANT IT
I like that this was designed with the future in mind. The reservoir mounts and radiator placement options, as well as the SSD mounts, make this a case that you wouldn't have to drill full of holes in the future for those sorts of things. I don't particularly care about the window, the only mentioned weak point, so this could be my next/final case buy.
Linus, I like to hook up my laptop to my living room flat screen from time to time and watch your videos. this may not seem like a big thing, but when i watch my 15 month old nephew Austin, he will almost always sit on my lap and watch you with me. We really enjoy your videos.
Phanteks has really outdone themselves. If you were eyeing cases like the NZXT H440, the Corsair 750D, or even the Fractal Design DR4 or the Core 3500, I would seriously recommend this case. The 750D is a full-tower, yet it only has support for a rear 140, top 280 or 360, front 280 or 240, and no bottom-mounted radiators, due to the spacing between the fan grill and the frame. Yet Phanteks managed to get a bottom 280 and a top 420 in this case.
2024, and I'm still loving this case. It's rocking a Supermicro Epyc system, and I put a 4x 3.5 hot swap cage in the 5.25 bays. Since mine is (and always was) a server, I went with the solid side panel version. It's fascinating to see how far Linus has come in 10 years.
Indeed. It is a 10 year old design, but it still looks and performs better than many of the new cases we can choose from today. I'm glad Phanteks is still selling this one.
If you're on the fence about buying this case, BUY IT! It's a badass case and I have had many of them. All the cables were already cleaned up and running other cables through it was easy as hell and everything looks super clean if you install everything through the right holes. This case is pretty big and air flow is excellent. It's also somewhat quieter than I thought it would be. I figured it would be loud. By the way this must be an old review because I got the case an didn't have any flaws at all, no scratches and even though it's mostly plastic, it looks like brushed metal and kind of feels like it.
1. There exists something called video date checking. Don't just say it must be an old review, check it yourself. 2. What does that even have to do with the scratches? It's the bad luck Linus had combined with the shipping all the way to Canada and the bad packing material. These are all minor things to point out but it's a pet peeve of mine I guess.
nictheperson since this case launched the reviews have mentioned scratched windows and panels, i would bet enthoo changed the packaging a bit to deal with it.

Also extra USB ports/SD card readers, and even a bonus slot for a floppy disk reader if I can find one :))
I'm with ya. I still enjoy watching movies and listening to music on CDs. Am I the only one still burning 'mix tapes' on CD? It's fun and keeps my original CDs from getting scratched up since I mostly listen to my 'mix tape' CDs. I also have a big stack of PC games on DVDROM that I like to play. I put two of my trusty old Western Digital DVD-ROM drives (one that can burn discs and the other that can't - I still use a drive that can't burn discs because some of my games act like they are trying to prevent me from pirating them if I put them in the DVD-R drive) in this case and I still have an empty bay that I could install something else in. I've thought about putting a 3.25" floppy drive in there just for fun. I love having all this space in a case!
Still looks like a pretty good case to me especially for under $100. Finally decided to pull the trigger on a new PC, just waiting for all of it to finally get here over the next few days. Asus ROG X570 Crosshair VIII Hero (Wi-Fi) ATX Motherboard with PCIe 4.0, on-Board WiFi 6, AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-core, 24-thread unlocked desktop processor with Wraith Prism LED Cooler, G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800) Intel XMP 2.0 Desktop Memory Model F4-3600C18D-64GVK, EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 Super Black Gaming Graphics Card, Sabrent 1TB Rocket NVMe 4.0 Gen4 PCIe M.2 Internal SSD Extreme Performance Solid State Drive (SB-ROCKET-NVMe4-1TB), Crucial P1 1TB 3D NAND NVMe PCIe Internal SSD, up to 2000MB/s - CT1000P1SSD8, 4ea WD Blue 4TB Desktop Hard Disk Drive - 5400 RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5 Inch - WD40EZRZ, CORSAIR TX-M Series TX750M CP-9020131-NA 750W ATX12V v2.4 / EPS 2.92 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Semi-Modular Active PFC Power Supply, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Full Tower Chassis with Window Cases PH-ES614P_BK,Black
I love how modular and easy to customize this case is! It was so easy to decide which parts to include and which to leave out. Very easy to work inside of and upgrade, even for my big hands with long fingers. This is the main reason why I decided to go with this case. I was tired of cramped case interiors. I also like how sturdy it is. Most of it is made of metal that feels pretty durable. Even the plastic parts are fairly stout. I can remove the top and front plastic panels to clean it (which I have always done for every PC I've owned once a month) without worrying about breaking the tabs that hold them in place. It's a bit heavy, but I don't tote it about to LAN parties, so that's not much of an issue. The filters are also a nice touch. They keep the innards quite clean, even where I live - a desert that has caliche limestone dust in the air all the time. The finest particles get through the mesh and the little side vents on the front cover, but nothing else does. I've had my case for three years and have yet to find any lint, hair, etc. inside it. The window in the side panel is a bit scratch prone and the panel itself rattled a bit after I built the system in the case. I solved it by putting a bit of black electrical tape along the edges. It stops the rattle quite well and the case still looks good. I like the screw holding box a lot too. The case was packed well but yes, they should have used better foam in the box. Otherwise, it was well packed and my case survived the trip from FedEx well. I still recommend it. Fortunately, you can still buy a new one from Phanteks website for about $100.
Running a 5900x and 3060 12gb. Both air cooled, and both overclocked. Even in 2022, it's an excellent case. Max 5900x temp in Cinebench R23 for the CPU after 10 minutes is 63 Deg C. Max temp on the GPU is 62 Deg C running Heaven continuously for 10 minutes. Even with drive bays still installed, with 4 drives mounted in the bay area. And to repeat, they are air cooled.
Yes, air flow in this case is incredible! With fans installed in every possible bay, even one on the drive cage, I can keep my case under 80 Celsius even when I'm giving the CPU and GPU a workout playing demanding videogames.
And I was over here thinking my Fractal Define R4 was just about the best you could get for the money. Had you made this video just 2 weeks ago I would have bought this over the R4. I'm still happy with mine though.
My budget was 1800 and I chose this case because it looks so damn good. I have the white one with blue led fans. Nothing compares imp. It's understated sleek design makes it look so good.
Couldn't have told that this case was released a few years ago, as I like this case design (especially for its 5.25in bays and ample HDD bays). I'm getting one quickly, because the prices are going up and stock is drying out...
Honestly I am still using this case 3 builds later since 2018. It's freaking Amazing. I think my next build I am going to go with something with a full glass side and white though. Look more clean.
@@Mewzyc absolutely zero complaints from me. It's got plenty of room in the back panel, it's also got a literal shit load of grommets with rubber bushing things, which can also be removed if so desired. Has plenty of room in the power supply bay as well.
I've owned this case ever since it came out and I love it. Of course like any other case it has some pros and cons but this case has mostly pros. You cannot get a better deal for a $100 case
I have the one of these with the Tempered Glass on the left side. This is a sweet case, I put an i9 in a AORUS Master in it. No problems. Its hard to find them in stock. That says it all.
I purchased the black Enrthoo Pro and the box had some damage to the exterior by the foam packaging was intact and no damage to the case. I am in the process of building out my rig and looks like there is ample room for the cram session that will be taking place very soon. BTW love the videos keep em' coming!
yes you can, but really you dont even need to considering if you put nothing in there it still looks good. you got a stealth shield and the window barely shows it. well now that i think about it i think you can fit a 200mm fan on top if you remove it. that gives me an idea.....
Running this case for over 7+ years. Side window is still intact and has a good bit of breathing room for RTX cards. I have the white color version, and it didn't yellow at all.
+zackorreaperrr You actually came back over a year later, if not two, just to check if anyone posted the same comment, which Linus said in the video anyway? Wow. Just wow.
Just bought one in 2021! Only decent case I found with 3 5.25 bays and no side window. Would have gotten a Fractal 7 XL R2, but they don't make it anymore.
And in 2021 still relevant and choice because of affordability and 5.25" drive bays... for those of us who don't care about LED lights everywhere, but are more concerned about performance and usability.
Honestly 2014-15 sat the bar all high regarding cases, all new cases are just slightly tweeked going around in circles. obv its a ''metal case box'' but take a case from 2014vs2007 and 2014vs2021 and see what I mean :p.
@@vulkevo Externally accessible drive bays are important to some of us (optical drives, header devices, removable HHDs, etc). But a lot of the new cases don't do them.
Years ago I had a custom made Digital Audio Workstation built in a Lianli rack mounted case. After having numerous problems with the motherboard loosing its bios settings from it discharging the cmos battery.(no overclockiing) I sent it back. It came back with a couple of screws missing on the BR drive and it did a lot of damage in shipping and bent the case. I had it repaired at their cost , mounted into a new Lianli case. What a pain. I related to your story about shipping damages on built systems.
Will this computer run the bf series on medium to high? I had to cheap out a little on the GPU, and power supply since I'm on a budget :/ Thanks in advance pcpartpicker.com/p/KHZzhM
***** I have found potatoes to work well for cpus and you can buy ram horns online for pretty cheap. They work very well and can run anything I throw at it. The graphics card is a bit overkill though. I would try to downgrade it.
I purchased this case straight from Phanteks and it was shipped to the Caribbean. It was still intact, no broken foam, no scratches not even a dent in the box it was shipped in. I don't know maybe I got lucky.
ok so i know this might seem silly but it looks like they copied corsair with the obsidian 750D or 950 etc that series is preatty much this top front and thats about it
Isn't this a Full tower case? I though it was... In any event, would it fit four GPUs? I saw that it had 8 PCI slots in the back. (Long term upgrade ideas.)
Let me correct you, Linus. You said twice on the video that this case is a mid tower case and you are actually wrong. Enthoo Pro is a full tower case like his two bigger brothers Enthoo Primo and Entho Luxe. And the quality of the acrylic of the Enthoo Pro is good unlike you said on the video.
It is a full tower tour right there but every review on this case i read online said it’s not cheap acceic, but gets pretty damaged in shipping and makes it scratched or warn. Give him a break
true on the acrylic, iv had the case for at least a year and a half and its been on the floor where feet can hit it. i dont see and obvious scratches or damage in the windows.
***** To add to this comment, a RoG board is really a waste of money if you are just getting started with building gaming PCs - unless you are in it for the appearance, which is perfectly fine then. You really should go z97 chipset and 4690k. Same price as your current parts, but unquestionably better performance. My recommendation is to change your motherboard to this (www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813132133&cm_re=asus_gryphon_z97-_-13-132-133-_-Product). It has the same build quality as a RoG board, without the premium price that comes with RoG. Use the money you save to get a better power supply. Also, here is a link to the 4690k, for your convenience (www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117372&cm_re=4690k-_-19-117-372-_-Product).
Came back to confirm, since I just got my Enthoo Pro deliverd. They added two additional ssd mounting locations on the HDD-Cover-thingy. You can now mount one ssd so you can see it through the small window panel. Sweet.
The current series of reviews is being really useful for me, as I can see different cases for my future PC (hope to build soon), and learn what their quality is like.
The Enthoo Pro is one of the best cases I have ever built in. I have the newer Tempered Glass Special Edition models and loved every moment of building in it. It IS, however, a FULL tower. Its massive and VERY feature rich. Dont hesitate, buy it.
Hello. Could you please estimate, if the TG will fit or could be modded onto the classic version of the case? I cannot seem to find the glass itself anywhere. I hope phanteks will sell it seperately :) Additional question: Does it include side dust filters ? I had to make my own side dust filters for the front panel, I hope they include them :) Have a nice day and good times with your great case :D
I was lucky enough to get this case for my new build for the wife . I finally broke away from the LGA775 . . Selling point was the drive bay for a CD Rom and the ability to also accommodate a 240 water cooler on top . There was mountains of room making setting up and connecting the board easy . The Asus Z 690 , 240 strx water cooler and 2 WD Black nvme 500 gig boot 2tb storage and a Samsung 500 gb ssd for back up operations 850 wat power 32 gig ram . The down side to this case while cleaning filters and fans I stubbed my little toe on it and fractured the toe … the case survived no damage .
i was between the enthoo pro and the enthoo pro m but im gonna go with this, why? well de 2 extra usb in front, the abilyty to remove de drive cage and botom thingy plus the pwm hub.... i just want to know how a z97x sli (cpu fan, opt, fan, 3 sys fans)+ this case + this pwm + ph-tc14pe + 3rd fan + 2 ph-f140xp fans will work i already have and idea but....
It's 2024. I built a system in this case in 2015. After 10 years of being very happy with my platform I'm looking to build a beastly new system in 2025. Having looked at modern cases a few times, I think I'm actually going to stick with my Enthoo Pro.
I feel this is like the Phanteks version of the NZXT H440, it's got the slot fan mounts [which i believe all cases SHOULD have] it also has the PSU shroud, which again, i love the look of, it also has the fan hub..... but, you know what i'll say there. I like the case a lot! clap to Phanteks for making a well made case with good qualities, but, I prefer the smooth, sleek look to the H440. Listen up, if anyone is debating between this or the H440, here are the differences. the NZXT H440 is more of a silent design with watercooling in mind and also, the H440 has no 5.25" Bays, so if you use a DVD reader, 5.25" reservoirs or anything else, get the Enthoo Pro! The Phanteks Enthoo Pro is a very solid looking case with very nice cable management with its PSU shroud and velcro cable tie downs, bearing in mind, as Linus said, the packaging is a little........ mehhh..... So to conclude: if you're a person who hates a loud PC, the nzxt H440 is for you.. BUT, if you want to go extreme balls to the walls and pack a rig with lots of gpu's and need somewhere to put it all, the Enthoo Pro is for you
My family PC was built by my dad in this case, and im now the one who looks after it. after about 1 or 2 years, its still going strong, the only thing is that the front headphone jack has come loss some how, and you now have to push your headphones in weird directions to get it to work in both ears. But other than that, its easy to clean, after not cleaning it for almost a year! there was very little dust build up, and no performance issues. And not even using most of the fans (only one in the front and one in the back) (along with the CPU and PSU fans) i have never seen an issue there ether. And that with a i7 7700k (cooled by a 212 Evo), GTX 1080, and 32 gb of ram and a 850W PSU. good case, would highly recommend to first time builders, as it is very roomy too. Ok bye.
The foam is definitely extremely weak. Just built my rig at my workplace and now comes the prospect of transporting it home which has me worried since I'll have to take a cab for it and putting the enthoo pro with all the components in it could lead to damage.
why put a washable mesh dust filter in the front and then design two rows of big dust sucking holes at the same time? i'd have to plug that up somehow....oh, is there room in there for a bit of ac pre-filter foam in there?
What are the watercooling possibilities in the case? I'd like to use a 150mm tube reservoir for watercooling.... i was gonna use the bracket it comes with in the accessory box (the one that mounts on the hard-drives)... however, how can i root it from the reservoir, to the pump mount located under the bays, to the radiator etc?? :)
At 1:03, what is the honeycomb cutout (with the two long adjustment holes, and the single hole in the middle) to the right of the PCI E slots. My Enthoo Pro manual doesn't even talk about it. Is it for mounting an external reservoir, and if so, what are the advantages of that?
Hey Linus, I know this is a late comment, but I just had one question for you; you said that this case wasn't perfect, but was very good. Aside from the poor quality acrylic side panel, what would change about the case to make it what you might consider to be perfect? Thanks, Jake
Are problems with shipping very common? I can't seem to find any other professional reviewers complain about the packaging from the Phanteks Enthoo Pro.
could you maybe do a review on the Nanoxia Deep Silence 2 Mid Tower Case? I was wanting to buy one and found a video made by you, except it wasn't as in detail like this one.
Would have liked if you could have let us know radiator thickness options for front and top, would save me hunting around elsewhere :) Looks like a good case though, LOVE the screws rather than rivets, that's how they should all be, especially >$150
Just ordered this case yesterday (without the window) and am looking forward to it. I may eventually look into getting a custom window put into it though. Obviously this will raise the price point, but at the same time I'll be sure to get one made of material that isn't as bad as that suggested in the reviews. **shrugs** I can live with that for the sake of the flexibility this case clearly provides.
I have the enthoo pro with side window. Not a single scratch on the plastic side window. I have used it for about 3 months now. I just clean it once a week to remove dust particles etc. And when i transport it i just put a plastic bag over the side window part and lay her down in the luggage compartment of the car.
Enclave Soldier **nods** Nice. I wish I had been paying more attention when I bought this one. I'd have purchased the one with the window instead. Either way, I'm really happy with the one I have. It made putting my system together almost pleasurable. :0D **laughs**
This, the Enthoo Luxe, or the Enthoo Primo? I am cooling my system with a swiftech h220-x and i want something to place it in and i saw these 3 phantek cases and i thought they looked great. I don't care about the pricing between the 3. I also want A LOT of space to work with and i want a sleek but at the same time aggressive look. I also want good build quality! Thanks in advance!!
I have a question at 3:24 is that the PWM hub next to the SSD? Also there is a 12v connector attached to that hub that is not long enough to plug into anything where does that go then thanks for the help.
Yes, that is the PWM fan hub. As for the SATA power connector, it's a female connector, so it's not meant to plug into anything, rather you plug a male SATA power connector into it. Except you don't, because that will mean the fans attached to the hub will run at full speed all the time. I'm not entirely sure why it's there to be honest, so I took mine off altogether and stowed it away in the accessory box...
Looks like a solid case. I see alot of potential for lights in this case with the window and good spacing. I was also looking on new egg and saw this case in a full ATX version
It seems like in year 2020, this case still rocks for modders and overclockers! at a budget
Just bought one a few months ago. They just added more spaces for 2,5 inch
Actually I think it might be one of the best cases, still has optical drive slots
ya i am looking to get one i hope i will like it
@@21MichaelAC Yup you're right. One of the best cases for $100. Bought one for my custom loop. Great case!

Totally buying the tempered glass version of the Enthoo Pro in 2020 :D
That’s what I got
lol still have this exact case, bought it before the review came out. best case ever!
me too!
Now R4 has some competition man.
This is now gonna be a head scratcher for me since I love both cases, but which one to use for my future build
Andre Cruz The r4 white looks much better imo.
ivanzegt
I'm not a fan of white cases, i love sleek black
You must not be subscribed to Hardware Canucks... they reviewed this case a month ago.
Travis Ross I am subbed, but I haven't been for a month
My budget was 1800 and I chose this case because it looks so damn good. I have the white one with blue led fans. Nothing compares imp. It's understated sleek design makes it look so good.
DOES HE NOT REALIZE ITS A FULL TOWER?
Phanteks says it's a midi tower even tho it supports extended atx and is really big
Please don't ever change the format of your reviews. This is awesome.
They came out of nowhere like Fractal, I love that! Giving small time company's a shot at the big leagues :)
Couldn't have told that this case was released a few years ago, as I like this case design (especially for its 5.25in bays and ample HDD bays). I'm getting one quickly, because the prices are going up and stock is drying out...
That 200mm fan! :D
Gday
its making me look at my gx700 and say hmm mechanical keyboard or case hmm gx700 stays till next year lol
haha
Honestly I am still using this case 3 builds later since 2018. It's freaking Amazing. I think my next build I am going to go with something with a full glass side and white though. Look more clean.
any thing u don't like about the case, such as cable management? i'm looking to buy.
@@Mewzyc absolutely zero complaints from me. It's got plenty of room in the back panel, it's also got a literal shit load of grommets with rubber bushing things, which can also be removed if so desired. Has plenty of room in the power supply bay as well.
@@Mewzyc only thing i'd see a legitimate complaint would probably the dust filters being flimsy as all hell, but that's a minor complaint
That says it all.
idk why you keep calling this a mid tower in the video, its not a mid tower
I purchased the black Enrthoo Pro and the box had some damage to the exterior by the foam packaging was intact and no damage to the case. I am in the process of building out my rig and looks like there is ample room for the cram session that will be taking place very soon. BTW love the videos keep em' coming!
"I guess I could give it like an award or something but we don't really do that."
#shotsfired
When the front panel USB ports were shown, I did not see an SSD/HDD activity light. Where is that located?
can u remove the internal optical bays?
yes you can, but really you dont even need to considering if you put nothing in there it still looks good. you got a stealth shield and the window barely shows it. well now that i think about it i think you can fit a 200mm fan on top if you remove it. that gives me an idea.....
Yes. I would do this if you have no use for an optical drives or some HDDs, this can give you some room for two 120mm fans or a water radiator.
just got this case for my new computer and it's amazing! it was a bit of a pain to get my 4070 ti to fit but otherwise was a perfect
This or the S340, H440 or Define R5
This
This
This.
900D
***** yep. I just wanted to derp, and the 900D is like, the biggest, most overkill case ever
Running this case for over 7+ years. Side window is still intact and has a good bit of breathing room for RTX cards. I have the white color version, and it didn't yellow at all.
Praise be to Gaben for creating steam.
+1V1 ME M8 why you so mad? (I don't really use steam tbh)
don't copy me bro
+zackorreaperrr You actually came back over a year later, if not two, just to check if anyone posted the same comment, which Linus said in the video anyway? Wow. Just wow.
nah, i just wanted to watch the vid again, since i wanted to get a new pc case.
PRAISE BE TO GABEN FOR CREATING STEAM
Got the model with the tempered glass side panel. It's a great case and it looks great, even now.
Will this computer run the bf series on medium to high? I had to cheap out a little on the GPU, and power supply since I'm on a budget :/ Thanks in advance pcpartpicker.com/p/KHZzhM
It says 405w on the site XD
SpiderGamesHard Yeah, I need to higher the power supply since I 2 cpus through custom parts
I'll update the link
Nope, I don't think you will be able to run much with that. It has nowhere near enough ram and has an AWFUL cpu.
Comba7000 What would you recommend? Remember I'm on a budget
*****
I have found potatoes to work well for cpus and you can buy ram horns online for pretty cheap.
I don't know maybe I got lucky.
ok so i know this might seem silly but it looks like they copied corsair with the obsidian 750D or 950 etc that series is preatty much this top front and thats about it
i actually gotta agree with you. I own a obsidian series 650D and the two look very similar
yea it really looks like
I can confirm this case is made in the same factory in China as the Corsair cases.
It doesn't look like the 750D at all, i own it myself.
i own the 750 d and i mean some parts of it look like it
Isn't this a Full tower case? I though it was... In any event, would it fit four GPUs? I saw that it had 8 PCI slots in the back. (Long term upgrade ideas.)
Let me correct you, Linus. You said twice on the video that this case is a mid tower case and you are actually wrong. Enthoo Pro is a full tower case like his two bigger brothers Enthoo Primo and Entho Luxe. And the quality of the acrylic of the Enthoo Pro is good unlike you said on the video.
Everywhere else also says its a full size... im looking at buying it.
Paulo Brandi I actually came here looking for this correction. Thanks!
Daniel Worthey so 2 years later....did you buy it?
It is a full tower tour right there but every review on this case i read online said it’s not cheap acceic, but gets pretty damaged in shipping and makes it scratched or warn. Give him a break
true on the acrylic, iv had the case for at least a year and a half and its been on the floor where feet can hit it. i dont see and obvious scratches or damage in the windows.
Did my first build in this case. Everyone's first build should be in a full tower so they have plenty of room for wiring.
I read it as "Poo".
***** Some people can be dyslexic.. I read it the same way too..
***** oh yes most certainly.
***** Your name shows a sort of irony in that insult.
me too. probably because the word is preceded by enthOO.
LOL I thought he said poo too
Are you sure that this is a Midtower? You said it at 1:18
Everywhere i look on the internet it says that it's a Fulltower/BIgtower
Hey guys i wanna build a pc, are these components good for a decent gaming pc?
EVGA GTX 780 SC ACX (GK110, 3GB) , Intel Core i5 4670K BOX (LGA 1150, 3.40GHz, Unlocked) , ASUS R.O.G. Maximus VI Hero (LGA 1150, Intel Z87, ATX) , WD Green (1000GB, 3.5", Desktop) , Samsung 840 EVO Basic (120GB, 2.5") , Corsair Vengeance (2x, 4GB, DDR3-1600, DIMM) , Corsair CS650M (650W) , Corsair Obsidian 350D, Window (Midi Tower)
*****
To add to this comment, a RoG board is really a waste of money if you are just getting started with building gaming PCs - unless you are in it for the appearance, which is perfectly fine then.
***** and what do you think about this: Intel Core i7 4790K BOX , ASUS MAXIMUS VII RANGER (LGA 1150, Z97, ATX) , EVGA GTX 780 SC ACX (GK110, 3GB) , Corsair Hydro Series Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler H100i, Corsair Vengeance (2x, 4GB, DDR3-1600, DIMM) , WD Green (1000GB, 3.5", Desktop) , Samsung 840 EVO Basic (250GB, 2.5") , Corsair HX 850 Watt , Corsair Obsidian 350D, Window (Midi Tower)

***** could you please link me the mainboard and the psu, thanks.
around 1200-1600
I love the little second window on the side panel, looks really nice. I'd love to see it on other cases
hail gabeN
Do you think the poor window material problem has been fixed by now? I am planning to use this case in a build. Thanks for all the good videos!
Throwing a ryzen 9 and 3070 in one of these next week
Nice, how did it turn out?
Came back to confirm, since I just got my Enthoo Pro deliverd. They added two additional ssd mounting locations on the HDD-Cover-thingy. You can now mount one ssd so you can see it through the small window panel. Sweet.
Thanks for mentioning this! Did you get the tempered glass version or the acrylic version? Sorry that this is 2 years late lol
The current series of reviews is being really useful for me, as I can see different cases for my future PC (hope to build soon), and learn what their quality is like.
I am old school. So I love the looks and functionality of this case.
1:18, it's actually a full tower, not a mid tower
Love your reviews. I have used many of them to get my computer
Wait, where's the Enthoo Luxe that has been shown at CES 2014? There only are the Pro and the Primo on their site
linus great job man ur quick and straight to the point.i will be purchasing this case for my next pc build i am working on! tnx again.
I hope phanteks will sell it seperately :)
Additional question: Does it include side dust filters ? I had to make my own side dust filters for the front panel, I hope they include them :)
Have a nice day and good times with your great case :D
About damn time you put this review up.
YAY, you did it, thank you so much Linus!!! I wanted to buy it weeks ago but I'd like to hear YOUR opinion first
i was between the enthoo pro and the enthoo pro m but im gonna go with this, why? well de 2 extra usb in front, the abilyty to remove de drive cage and botom thingy plus the pwm hub....
i just want to know how a z97x sli (cpu fan, opt, fan, 3 sys fans)+ this case + this pwm + ph-tc14pe + 3rd fan + 2 ph-f140xp fans will work
i already have and idea but....
The Phanteks Enthoo Pro is a very solid looking case with very nice cable management with its PSU shroud and velcro cable tie downs, bearing in mind, as Linus said, the packaging is a little........ mehhh.....
So to conclude:
if you're a person who hates a loud PC, the nzxt H440 is for you..
BUT, if you want to go extreme balls to the walls and pack a rig with lots of gpu's and need somewhere to put it all, the Enthoo Pro is for you
Great video as always LMG :)
looking for a case like this but more modern using USB 3.1 and having two dvd size drive bays
what a fantastic case... you did not tell how should one clean the front and top filters tho, assuming they are not removable.
Ok bye.
This case makes me consider getting this over other Fractal cases. I love the XL and the arc mini but this makes it a little harder to choose.
The foam is definitely extremely weak. Just built my rig at my workplace and now comes the prospect of transporting it home which has me worried since I'll have to take a cab for it and putting the enthoo pro with all the components in it could lead to damage.
Awesome! Im building a pc for the first time and all of the components i've picked can be found on linustechtips!
why put a washable mesh dust filter in the front and then design two rows of big dust sucking holes at the same time? i'd have to plug that up somehow....oh, is there room in there for a bit of ac pre-filter foam in there?
What are the watercooling possibilities in the case? I'd like to use a 150mm tube reservoir for watercooling.... i was gonna use the bracket it comes with in the accessory box (the one that mounts on the hard-drives)... however, how can i root it from the reservoir, to the pump mount located under the bays, to the radiator etc?? :)
At 1:03, what is the honeycomb cutout (with the two long adjustment holes, and the single hole in the middle) to the right of the PCI E slots. My Enthoo Pro manual doesn't even talk about it.
Is it for mounting an external reservoir, and if so, what are the advantages of that?
speedevil22 you can easily mount reservoir there
Thanks, that's what I thought. Is it for external reservoirs then? I don't see any holes to route tubing back into the case.
speedevil22 I think it's for internal so you can have a better visual through the window.
thank you so much for reviewing this case it is on my defiant buy list
cool case review, thanks Linus!
Hey Linus, I know this is a late comment, but I just had one question for you; you said that this case wasn't perfect, but was very good. Aside from the poor quality acrylic side panel, what would change about the case to make it what you might consider to be perfect?
Thanks,
Jake
Are problems with shipping very common? I can't seem to find any other professional reviewers complain about the packaging from the Phanteks Enthoo Pro.
That's just canada.
could you maybe do a review on the Nanoxia Deep Silence 2 Mid Tower Case? I was wanting to buy one and found a video made by you, except it wasn't as in detail like this one.
Finally :D I already have this case and it is amazing.
.I just ordered this case yesterday. It is one of my favorites.
Did you record like the entire last two weeks worth of videos in one day, or do you just REALLY love that shirt?
ordered it ! i got this case a H110i Gt and a Evga SuperNova 750 watt fully modular Psu from newegg today! my build is Finally Complete ...
3 years later my case and acrylic looks scratched up but holding strong
Would have liked if you could have let us know radiator thickness options for front and top, would save me hunting around elsewhere :)
Looks like a good case though, LOVE the screws rather than rivets, that's how they should all be, especially >$150
This has become a serious choice for my case upgrade
How good is the front 200mm fan? I am considering replacing it with dual 120mm fans instead.
Can you make a video on how to clean your computer? I bought compressed air, but im not exactly sure how to use it
Amazing case, it's very similar the Obsidian 750D which sadly can't be purchased anymore.
The mounting slots instead of holes are a great idea. Don't like the design but I will keep an eye out in the future.
Ok great thanks for helping me out.
Looks like a solid case. I see alot of potential for lights in this case with the window and good spacing. I was also looking on new egg and saw this case in a full ATX version
also there is that grommet on the PSU shroud to run LED power through to line the bottom of the pc with soo big plus!
