Jeff I have a 2020 Camry with the heads up display. So far I absolutely love it. I was surprised by how much info it has Things like radar cruise control, lane keeping, pre collision system, and nav I expected. But this thing shows much more than I thought - it even shows the parking sensor status if you begin to get close to obstacles behind or in front of you - it shows warning messages - if it’s cold outside, it says “roads may be icy “ and it even flashes a little snowflake icon - the radar cruise or pre collision system is unavailable due to debris blocking the radar or camera when for example it snows outside - it shows audio information when I change tracks, audio source, or adjust the volume with the steering wheel. I’ve test driven vehicles that have HUDs and I found that Toyota’s HUD is the best by far in my opinion. But I think the best HUD is the one in the Lexus ls500 and upcoming mirai both of which have a 24 inch HUD

I have HUD on my 2023 Camry XSE V6. I like it on long drives. The compass is the most distracting info. Wondering What is the Life Expectancy of HUD when ON all the time while driving? Will I get 100K miles or 300K miles before it dies or becomes inoperable? What is the cost to repair or replace?
I'm a huge compass user and really wanted to see how it looked. Perfect! Thank you! Also, I used to live in North Carolina, and moved back to California. Really happy to see West Virginia again! It's a beautiful over there! Thanks for the tour!

Some beautiful views out there in the Appalachian mountains. Grew up hiking them all the time. Living in south florida we don't have very much elevation change... Except for the pile of trash at the dump that's ~100 ft tall

Hi Jeff! I just got a new 2020 Corolla LE last week and I notice the windshield seems slightly distorted, not a whole lot but just enough to throw off my vision and make my eyes strain a bit. Is this common? Can it be fixed? I otherwise love my car but I find it's hard to drive because of the glass.

Why does it flicker at times ? I had one of the first HUD sysems in a 1996 Pontiac Grand Prix and it NEVER flickered . Granted, it was a monochrome green, but I'd rather it have a single color and NOT flicker.

2.0 yes AWD. It was a little bit of wind noise coming off the top but I think it was because there was a roof rack with crossbars on this one that I was reviewing. Overall it was incredibly smooth and quiet

I would expect Tesla to have a heads up display that allows you to access every feature that is available on that God awful thing that looks like a laptop in the middle of the dashboard, I always thought that Tesla's interior looks more like a taxi cab than a luxury car ,lol😂
I think its a great feature to have and should be standard on all Toyotas.

Only the driver can. You can adjust the height of the display based on how tall you are sitting.

it should be illegal to try to maximize your fuel economy and hold up traffic. The roads belong to everybody.
Also, it seems to me lately the owners of the enormous pick up trucks are the ones driving slowly to maximize fuel economy.
