Love this test, I use it as part of my home exercise programs all the time in its full 8 direction form, but I remember reading not too recently that the direction with the greatest predictive value for injury was only the posteromedial direction!
I have one question.. Some of the article says that we shouldn't flex the leg which is in contact with ground and some says that we should flex the leg ... So which is the correct mention
What does it tell you when the patient is not able to live up to the standards ? + Do you advice to use this as a measurement tool through out different interventions ?

The Y balance test is sufficient for testing as well
Yes, sorry I mean't that based on what I read, it suggested that really, you could simplify the Y test to just the posteromedial reach of the Y only!
Please mention the reliability of SEBT

What do you mean divide it by the leg length ? Do you actually measure the leg length ?
Yes, from hip to heel for a general measurement.
Very well explained 👏

Is "excursion" with context to a squat the eccentric phase of the movement? When the knee and hips are in a flexion position.

Agree, it's an assessment for return to play, but we do exercises similar to this in rehab as well!
Hi can this be replaced by the y balance test? Whats the difference between one and another in terms of improving performance, evaluation... Thank you
Check the end of the video. We mention the Y balance test. And a video is coming next week
Is this leg stability exercise?
It can be an exercise, but is rather an assessment for return to play.
Dauert etwas zu lang, so ein Testdurchgang. Ansonsten sehr gut.
Ja, dafür gibts den Y-Balance Test. Etwas kürzer und besser ausführbar in der Praxis
