That is some admirable ship handling, as you mentioned, by a unique team with wonderful skills.
Sharpness has always been a friendly little port, long may it continue

Always very happy, Mr. Witts; I hope I can schedule more time for UA-cam soon! Have a nice 2nd Advent with your family! 🙂🕯🕯
Very enjoyable film and music to match.
Many thanks Rob
Having a bow thruster is a definite necessity for swing like that in such a confined dock.
Love you film , especially the drone pictures
Many thanks Paul
Great capture!
Hi Mark, many thanks
@@ChrisWitts As a child in the mid 70's, My parents always took us for an annual family holiday to Watchet. During our two week stay, we used to watch the comings and goings of the small cargo ships which was truly fascinating to me and spawned a lifelong interest in coasters and general cargo ships. These coasters, mainly Danish owner would often travel to and from Portugal bringing back cargoes of cork etc. I photographed them many times from 1974 through to 81 but unfortunately, my 35mm transparencies were lost during a house move back in the 90's. I remember those holidays with fond memories. The happiest of times!! Thank you for your wonderful drone videos Chris.
A very good video Chris interesting and good choice of music to go with it
Thank you for your comment. Music, the one criticism I receive out of all the positive comments. Either too loud or bad choice!
Another top quality video! Thanks.
Very kind of you Steve

Nice aerial drone footage
Yes, I am pleased with the DJI Air 3S drone, superb camera and gimble, brilliant on night vision.
Nice Dutch Shiphandling
Certainly was
Whooops Yes It's flying on the foremast
Skilful manoeuvring
Thanks Alan, it certainly was
The Bristol might even be put down off Barry Roads
Yes The red Duster
Is there a pilot on board at this point?
There was this time. The captain's discretion whether he has the pilot in port. A pilot is compulsory from outside down to Barry roads.
Nice video. Do they not object to you flying directly over the ship? wonder what the rummage squad were looking for.
No Code Flag 'H' flying. Indicating 'no pilot aboard'.
Well spotted, but he was!
Ye good video montage, and that ship master nows his skill, what about it is wind force is 7 or 8 , that give really problems with that empty ship. make again a video and we can see what happens then. !! [3-12-24]
But it looks more like The Red Duster
Did she leave on a rising tide? As of today 30/11/24 north coast of Spain.
Hi Ian, yes, left on a rising tide
