When you ask Eugene Peterson how many books he has written he does not include The Message because "It wasn't my book". So humble. So peaceful and gentle.
I appreciated the Message so much, that I found myself searching it's "writer". This video was a part of that study, and as most videos do, brought home the personality of Mr. Peterson.
This is written after our brothers passing on and I am AWED at his findings and accomplishments all glory to our Potter Who shapes our lives. Religious ppl, EVEN in the latest modern "churches" please beware of the Devils infiltration by keeping u from reading this message. I have watched the "nay sayers" arguments and did my humble little e-sword study on the FEW scriptures and really, I go with Eugene as I sure wouldn't hurt anyone by quoting a religious version. I think Eugene was made to feel uncomfortable by the comment that " he wrote the bible" He has to much respect for the word of God to be flippant about it.

people in the congregation are not problems to be fixed or resources to be used.....yep.
He didn't like pastors or the "message"a real pastor preaches? Problem solved he wrote his own,with his own "message".
The Message is a disgrace to God's word,sickening. As if Satan himself wrote it.
