I wish that everyone that hates ffs and new technology had to run a 1984 bridgeported 2 stroke mercury.. I dont see anyone bitching about the advantages of the nice 4 stroke..its all good for the sport...for a very long time I have listened to the professional world of fishing talk about how we need to get the youth into the sport and take a kid fishing..now that the youth is here those same professional angles are crying about them here...

So Lowen likes to learn new techniques but won't learn FFS doesn't want the AOY decided by equipment well he should get FFS and he'd be AOY if it's the equipment. Want's to allow it in half of the tournaments so the one's that are good with it won't be able to fish their strength to level the playing field that makes a lot sense. The man from PRADCO blew that it's killing the tackle industry out of the water. What about the companies that make FFS who supported BASS and a lot of the angler's all these years so they just get kicked in the jaw? Sounds to me like Bill needs to keep his ass out of the duck blind and deer stand for an off season and learn how to use it.👍👍👍👍👍

Basstrak is killing the weight-ins. No need going when you already know. They all sandbag 1 to 1-1/2 lbs so nothing rarely changes.
That probably doesn’t help.
The pros use to say they caught every fish watching them eat the bait at weigh in. Now it’s like they are ashamed to admit to using it when we all see it on live. 🤷🏻♂️ if it’s so great brag on stage about how FFS is how you won!
They got tired of only ever hearing from a bunch of crybabies who don’t fish competitively, complain about it.

i wasnt at this years classic but on tv it didnt look like the expo was that busy,
I was there all three days and it was packed. Hard to find parking. Hard to get from one room to another. It was really spread out in different halls.
I don’t take anyone seriously about conservation , that advocates carting 5 of the largest fish they can catch a day around in a livewell all day.
There are certainly lots of hypocritical points being made on all sides
@@LukeDunkinsTravelingCircus don’t get me wrong, I like Dollar Bill, but the man sat there and said they get shallow to have a reproductive cycle. Yet he will catch the biggest 5 he can locate during the exact time that the actual “sustainability” part of the whole damn process is happening. And while doing that, will yank the piss out of all the rest while getting those 5.
It would seem to me, in theory, it would be much better for the resource if the bass were targeted in the deep water when they’re just swimming around enjoying a few scooby snacks, and not even remotely in a reproductive phase! 🤷♂️

Facts!
Attendance was way down at weigh in and at the show most retailers were down 50-60% the classic is the superbowl of bass fishing but they are messing up and beating it to death
I think the economy, inflation and cost to travel have a lot to do it with it
Attendance was pretty dang good where I was all three days. Worked with a couple of retailers that sold a lot. Where did that data come from? Randy Blanket? haha
His 10 dollar jig must not be selling well.
it is far from most in east coast. tenn nc ect is central so doabe for most of country, i also was not into the big drive to blast off and the late weigh in. im hoping hartwell is on the schedule soon or a summer classic
I bet Bill wouldn’t be for the idea of only fishing in the winter and leaving them alone for 3 months in the spring. You know for “conservation.”😂
That's how most of the folks complaining are. Ae all about protecting them but also about sticking them in the face haha

Idk I'm always gonna graph points and side scan for brush piles. But I'm not into dropping and chasing for damn sure.... I was never into video games so maybe that has something to do with it. But YOU'LL never qualify or be relevant without it. That's what it's done.. screw it up from the bottom up. I think the way that Hank Parker put it the other day was the best that I've heard it put so far.. the youth coming into the sport from high school whose dad probably doesn't have an extra few thousand dollars to throw at electronics will never be able to compete with kids who's dad's have big pockets.. when it starts affecting our youth way before it starts affecting people that have already made a living from fishing.. that's a problem!!

Ok next time you go fishing go in a canoe with a cane pole and paddle NO TM or any fancy electronics cause your taking the sport out of it
