Hi Monica. Thank you so much for these amazing (and rarely great!) tutorials you post. May I ask, will you ever make a tutorial for us novicees involving eyelid deformers? In case you're wondering what I'm talking about, it is the fleshy bits of the eyelids which move whenever the eyeballs rotate around. Thanks.
Do you happen to have any rig videos explaining eyelid rigging? I can't for the life of me figure out how one would rig those, and therefore I'm not sure if the way I modeled my eyelids is efficient either. I'm guessing one way to do eyes blinking is with blend shapes, but I imagine there's got to be a way to rig them like bones.
I had a problem while rigging whenever I move the global control the character moves but the eyes does not move with the body can you tell me how to fix it??
Hi.. Huge Thanks for your tutorial. Really help it for my project. But I have a problem with the eye that is not following with the (world_controller), The rest move but the eyes doesn't. Help me. Thanks
Thank you! I am already looking forward to the next part. Will skin weighting be covered later in this series? (I know you have mentioned it a few times but I mean more in-depth)
Quick question: When it comes to acessories, that is part of the body, but its a diferent object, we should just parent to the closest bone/joint? Or there is a better way of doing it?
While putting all controls into one and moving the whole mesh I discovered that the skeleton is actually away from body ;C all steps before were just perfect and now I have no idea what went wrong. The part from head to the half of the Spine works good, all is alright, but then lower parts and the whole body are coming out of the skeleton while moving controls ;C
I have a question about the controllers we use, the circles and whatnot. When moving the character with them, after having moved them and then going back to bind position the controllers stay in the same place they last wwere, and so then after that you are kinda stuck with floating controllers that dont represent the shape anymore. Is there a way to make the controllers stick onto the joint so they follow them ? ( this is a general question, not particularly about the eyes)
The way you explain starting from 0:00 - 15:32, it was really explained well. I like your humor, Im sorry to say this but your voice makes me fell in love, I can really imagine. You seem and look like a girl who was humor, really friendly and above all, this tutorial really taught me to rig my own character for my Thesis project. Thank you Academic Phoenix Plus, or whatever your real name is :D
So the rig I am using, both the eyes are connected already, there is no way to seperate left from right. Also when I add the eye control, I am noticing when I move the eye control, the eyes come all the way out lol, is there a way to fix this?
Oh my god! I finally got it to work! I re did the entire series up until here as I am pretty sure I had done something wrong with the eyes/skinning/parenting (who knows lol) along the way. The eyes work beautifully now! Yayy!
You'll also have to bind the clothes to the joints. It's not like hair that just parents to the head joint. The clothes have to flex with the body. I hope that helps!
@@AcademicPhoenixPlus Yes thank you 😊 I also pestered you on Instagram about it 😆 I was having a weird problem where the body and clothes were moving together but with a weird delay. I unbinded everything and binded it again and the problem seemed to be fixed. Thanks for reading my comment anyway 😁
Maybe the eyes have multiple constrains - you could check it in the outliner and look after the red-chain symbols and see, how many constrains they have? :) Just a thought.
I had the same problem, then I realized she wasn't including the eyes for the bind, and I was. You just have to make the eyes childs of the head bone, but not skinning them. Hope that helps.
oh my gosh i normally don't comment on youtube videos but thank you so much for these tutorials, I am learning alot and I am having so much fun!

That's very kind! :)
Thank you for this!!
your tutorials are great thank you!
Quick question. Can the Blend shapes happen BEFORE the body rigging?
I had a problem while rigging whenever I move the global control the character moves but the eyes does not move with the body can you tell me how to fix it??

Yep! Skin weighing is next, then blendshapes. :) Keep an eye out!
Thanks you ♥♥♥ I love you

could you also show how to move the mouth too. not just moving eye balls but other gestures as well. at least blinking and maybe smiling and such.
Yep! In my future tutorials I'll be going over blendshapes. :) Keep an eye out!
Great Tutorial
Thank you so much Ripper. :) I really appreciate you watching!
And how to fix scale issues?
Hey! How to ungroup the eyes and hair from the joints ? Thanks.
You can select the eyes and ungroup. The shortcut is shift +g. I hope that helps!
do you have a video regarding on how to put an eyes on the body Bipeds model

Hi! I know we chatted outside in my FB community. Did everything work out?
@@AcademicPhoenixPlus Yes, I had done something wrong with the skinning ;)

What's the best way to add clothes to a rig? I'm trying parenting all the pieces but it doesn't seem to be working

When I move my world control my eyes are moving in weird directions. If anyone knows what could be the problem, please do tell.
