Not allow
俾 usually means “give” or “to”, but in that instance, does it mean “let”? Can I use it in other constructions?

I've also seen maa4 faan4 used at the beginning of a sentence when requesting something, like "maa4 faan4 nei5 gong2 maan6 siu2 siu2", is that also good??
