    Do you need to fill the tank periodically due to evaporation? How do you know when to replenish the water supply that heats? Thanks for the helpful demonstration.

    • @JustADad

      Only if you let it sit for about 4 days it might be a little down. Thanks for watching!!

      Each pot of coffee replenishes the tank, remember you are not drinking what you have poured in, but what is already in the tanked heated. But if you do not make coffee everyday or only the minimum 20oz, then add water once a week.

    How do you go about emptying the water tank for storage?

  • @susanmichul6568
    @susanmichul6568 2 роки тому +1

    Is there any way to tell when it’s completely done with the dripping? I’m guessing no beep.

    • @JustADad
      @JustADad  2 роки тому

      No beeping, its so fast that you get the hang of it just wait about 1 min after its done and no more drips. it does not drip very long which is good.

    If you use it everyday,do you ever have to add water to the tank? If so about how often?

    • @JustADad
      @JustADad  2 роки тому

      if you use it everyday no, just when you brew a pot of coffee dump you brew amount in and the hot water will come out.

    Waiting on delivery of the Bunn CSB2B Speed Brew Elite. Bought it over all others as it's USA-Made. First-ever coffee maker (only recently began drinking the stuff). I'm only a one-cup-a-day person. Is it true I can fill the carafe with a minimum of 6 cups of water without burning out the system? And if I don't want to run it 24/7, I would think I can just refill the water every day and wait 20 minutes or so for that first cup....right? Thanks!

    I just bought a bunn and am very confused. If the coffee starts brewing as soon as you close the lid, how does this thing store water to keep hot for next time? Do I have to keep that lid open all the time if I'm not making coffee?

    • @JustADad
      @JustADad  2 роки тому

      NO, when you put the lid down it lets the water that you put in it flow down into the hot water tank and push the hot water out and brew your coffee.

    Mine overflows the basket...randomly. I have done some troubleshooting and all I can come up with is, if I pour the water in too fast, it overflows.
    Does that make sense?

    Not sure I like the idea that the water is sitting there hot until the next day, not very fresh🤔

      It does take some getting used too, but people who have had bunn coffee makers love them and swear by them, My dad has had bunn coffee makers since the 70's and they have not changed.

    • @07swbxrunner
      @07swbxrunner 2 роки тому +4

      Lol what? Water is pure, being hot or cold for extended periods of time does not make is "less fresh"

    • @rodhoutx

      Pretty much all commercial coffee makers work this way as well as water coolers that have hot and cold water dispensers. And Keurig machines. The water is sitting in a tank. That's the easiest way to dispense water that's hot enough and do it for the proper amount of time (not 10-15 minutes to brew a pot of coffee like a typical home brewer). There are a few SCAA Approved coffee makers that have powerful enough heaters to heat the water fast enough, but they are going to need more watts (maybe 1,000 to 1,200 watts).
