"Light and Shadow is the weird sword." This is very accurate. Body and Mind gets my vote for second weirdest. (It was pretty good in Standard but often actively helps your opponents in edh.)
Body and Mind funny enough is actually good in 1v1 edh (assuming you didnt combo'd out on turn 2) because those 2/2s are much more meaningful there. I still think War and Peace is another one that sits in a weird place. The fact that people are drawing more cards than ever might be a reason to slot it back in...but theres so much competition.
Finally had a chance to play my Kassandra deck using a good chunk of the cards you talked about it and it was a ton of fun! Building around Kassandra is an interesting challenge too since she likes those legendary equipment and a decent number of legendary equipment are attached to non-equipment cards (like Icingdeath, Mabel, Irencrag, etc.). Dunno if going that route is a *strong* idea, but it is fun to have excuses to run those cards!
Sweet. I just posted a Kassandra video yesterday and live streamed her. But yeah Ive been enjoying her as well. I didnt think about ICing death that is a cool idea. I am all about excuses to run fun cards :)
Been having fun with a Commander Replay inspired Reyav deck which has accidentally become quite pub stompy. Cheating equip cost is key to it success, and these cards seem to show R and D at WotC leaning into this card design philosophy. Staff of Hermes is so busted I don't want to run it, I wish they'd used the "10 greater than your starting life total" clause. Excalibur seems almost as good (bad). Lots of other fun stuff though, Mjolnir and bureau headmaster in particular. Definitely gonna be on the lookout for battlefield inspiration as a non dwarf specific 'armed and armored' in case I switch commander to Kellan. That effect is awesome with Sunforger :)
Don't forget that the Spear doesn't care about IF you discard, meaning that it just gives you the cards without drawback once you are down to 1 or no cards in hand. Not unlikely in Boros.
IMO the color protection on the swords all cancel each other out. Protection from 2 colors is always really strong, the only real question is whether your opponents are playing the colors. Black white and blue are obviously good against the spot removal. Red against all the board wipes and blasphemous act. Green is the most common creature color so usually unblockable against at least 1 player. So I dont think one sword really stands out color wise, which means they are best judged by their on hit abilities, and for me Light and shadow is still a little awkward early game but awesome late game.
Excalibur is going to end up being a trap, and will be on a creature trading down, mark my words. At first, I thought it gave both toughness and pwr buffs, but then realized that it does not. Whomp whomp.

Trailblazer Boots already had been powercrept by Psychic Paper from the Doctor Who set. Might be worth checking out.
