May I ask if you are, or can do a linear calibration on the scales, I found that on another source/manufacturer, over 600 mm it was out by 1.6 mm. I used the fixed calibration constant function to correct. I borrowed some large inside/stick micrometers to set-up/check. Looking forward to the installation. Thanks for sharing.
Hi I only checked my lathe DRO using a DTI I must check my mill. In the DRO programme you can adjust the calibration of the scale but most small workshops may not have a calibrated ref length to set it too. Regarding fitting I have already made 2 videos on fitting DRO to the lathe and mill this one will be passed to my brother for his Boxford. If he finds a better way of fitting I will video it Thanks for the comment Alan
Hi Steve. I fitted DRO to my mill in September this year so I will pass these on to my brother for his lathe See ua-cam.com/video/MYmlrRJLsms/v-deo.html
Alan hello, can you please let me know how you guys communicate with banggood, when something ordered and paid for never arrives. I have tried 4 different ways (their addresses) but get no reply. They are quick to pocket the money but from there on they are devious.. Now you and a lot of othe guys are praising their graces but I find them uncooperative. As I said quick to pocket the money. I think I shall stick to ebay in the future. Regards
Hi Christos. You need to go onto the banggood site, log in look at my orders which should show all the things you have purchased. From this you can find the order number of the goods it should also show the delivery date. At the top of the screen click on help centre to contact Banggood Regards Alan
Just chop that plug off and fit a uk plug, or buy a uk kettle lead.

Will you put this one on your mill ?
Hi Tony Yes I would use this one as it has better protection on the scales to reduce swarf/dirt and more sub datums than the DRO system I have
When ?
