I’m doing the Gnome pattern as part of my advent, too, but I don’t have the yarn yet. Planning a yarn shop trip on Tuesday for that and to get the yarn for another advent fun project! Sophie’s veggie diet looks yummy…. Enjoy! 😉
Thank you Jana.
I LOVE your Chestnut dress!! Thank you for the cozy Advent, and I think Sophia is cooking up a great dinner ; )
What a cool rolling star tree advent
OMG . . . . Sofia's sweater 😍. Hope you are feeling better.
Aw you sound all stuffy, have some hot lemon and take care of yourself, Jana, we will always be here xxx❤❤❤
Morning jana,,,,
Loving UR days,,,,
Elaine 🏘⛄
The snowy view from your window is extremely pretty. A winter wonderland! Love these vlogs so cosy warm and all the things I love. I hope you soon feel better ❤
Thanks for the cleaning advent link. I like small achievable tasks like that!!! ❤ loved your update, as always.
Hi Jena, it is very cosy. Enjoy your vegetables 🤣. Your red dress looks beautiful, I love a knitted dress. See you tomorrow, hope you feel better soon. 🧶👍🏻🇬🇧
I love that you also this year have the wooden calender and the little room with figures.❤️
Dearest Jana, as always so wonderful to see you and all that you share. I love the idea of a cleaning advent, 10 minutes a day. I’m off to start my own. And your red dress ♥♥♥
I love your excellent and cosy vlogmas dear Jana, thank you very much for this 🤩🧶🎄❄️🐦🍥🫖🍵🍩
Have a nice 1. Advent🕯️with your family ❄️🐦🍥🧶🌲❄️
I am very happy to see you tomorrow again 🙋🏼♀️
Feel better. Enjoy your wooden vegetables!❤
They were a bit tough, but delicious.
Hope you feel better soon. You bring such joy!
I'm with Sophia! I am not leaving the house today..hope the tea and nap will help with your Cold!
Love.your rolling star calendar ⭐ ❤ the little fiber advent is so cute 🥺 todays fiber look like snow. Your chesnut dress is coming along looking so nice 🙂
I love your Vlogmas! I hope you begin to feel better very soon😊
Jana, you are so funny! “It’s a wrap!”
😄
Look after yourself ❤
Thank you! Love your channel and get inspired! ❤
I just love that red and white wooden calender with the numbered trees and the star that moves across the top! Is it homemade? A Finnish tradition? Latvian?
I don't think it belongs to any specific country. It's probably a nordic thing. I picked it up years ago from a small home decor shop. Unfortunately it doesn't have any marking on it. I have seen similar ones afterwards. If you google 'wooden advent calendar with rolling star', lots of things come up. 😊
Thank you for making me smile today ❤💚
❤️
Your vlogmas is so well done and it always makes me feel warm and fuzzy and christmasy!❄️☃️
😊❤️
Get well! Glad you had a nap.
Love love your red dress. Soo suits you
Amazing advent ❤
Hi Jana from Scotland. I have just discovered your wonderful channel and I had to let you know how much you have cheered me up as I can not knit at the moment 😢 as I have injured my shoulder. I hope you feel better soon. Loving your vlogmas. You are such a lovely cheery girl. Keep up the good work. Xx
Oh no, I'm so sorry about your shoulder. I sprained my wrist last year and wasn't able to knit for almost a month. I remember I was dreaming about knitting. 😄 That was hard. I hope you get better soon! Take care! ❤️
Your dress is looking amazing. The gnome body parts are very intriguing lol.🤔😂 We have lots of snow here today in England.❄️☃️🎄
I loved the breakfasts in Sweden - amazing and enough to eat apple at lunch and wait for dinner - wonderful!!
Yes, we love a good breakfast in Nordic countries. 😄
I comment as I watch else I forget by the end what I wanted to say :D I'm so happy to see the cozy little advent room coming to life again this year. It's so heart warming. And your view out of the window is from a story book. Amazing!
Thank you! We moved to the countryside for that view. 😊❄️🌲
🍀 lovely " girl" I wish you coming years will be you bests 🎉🎉🎉😻🍀🍀🍀🍀
❤️
Hi Jana 😃👏🏼👋🏼🥰 I think a cleaning adventure is just the thing for me leading up to Christmas … great idea and if I knit a gnome quickly enough, gnome could help me😃👏🏼
Great! I also thought that a bite-size cleaning is very manageable. Much better thaf one big clean. I could use a couple of cleaning gnomes as well. 😄
I so want some of those German advent treats.
I’m with Sophia, it’s a pajama day here in the San Francisco Bay Area, thank you for day 2!
It´s so much fun to see you enjoying your advent-calendars . Stay healthy and warm.
Love all your advent calendars!🎄
In the past few episodes you managed to convince me to knit a dress, then I was also thinking about a pair of leggings... And here you are, with both of them together!
I would need either 48-hour-long days or one more set of arms, to knit all the things I'd like to do 😂
Oh, yes, we all would need that. 😄❤️
Wow the gnome MKAL is so interesting. I’ve never done one, but maybe watching yours will inspire me.
Hi from very hot south africa 35 c busy with amigurumi orders trying to stay cool maybe we could do an advent weather swoop 😀 little "scraps " of opposite weather to cool us or warm us thanks for doing vlogmas love watching ❤❤
I wouldn't mind that. 😄
In addition to showing us all the lovely yarn I appreciate that you share the comfy holiday vibe of your home in December. ❤ My shock of the red dress is pretty much gone now that I am seeing how good that colour is on you. When I "met" you, pinks, beiges, creams, and soft colours were what you worked with for garments. Nowadays you are all about your old friends, the neons, and now there is red. I love colour so I'm taking it all in and smiling. 🙂
Thank you so much! Don't forget my black phase last winter. 😄 And then orange and lilac in spring and summer. I think I'm just slowly going through all the colours. 😄
Love watching you your so funny make me smile 😃
I hope you feel better soon. Your dress is looking beautiful. I'm enjoying another year of your vlogmas.
I think it’s taupe, the first stripe.
You have created a beautiful cosy environment, filled wonder,Jana....and a smart daughter 👌Im with Sofia..I declare today is a home day and I will stay in my pj's too.😉👋🐨🌏xx
Yaaaay to a PJs day! 😄❤️
Oh, rice porridge! Sweet childhood memories . ❤
I can’t wait to see your beautiful dress done! 🎄
Your Chestnut dress is really pretty. Love your advent calendars that create a project. I am doing the Cozy Knitter socks too, but I accidentally wound the k backwards so my colours are totally different- starting with rust, then coral- my toes will likely look like your cuffs and vice versa!
It has happened to many people before. Just enjoy your sock! ❤️
Thanks! I am doing them 2 at a time for only the second time ever- yikes! So far, they look great. I am using the Heel Toe Dosy Doe socks from the Crazy Sock Lady. I love how it jazzes up the stripes.
Hello! I am from Frazee Mn in the USA. Happy to see someone else likes pizza for breakfast. One of my favorites. 😊 Love your podcast.
Hope you are feeling better soon! Same thing at our house. So fun watching you open your advent packages and listening to your ideas Thanks!
Oh no, get well soon! Some nasty viruses have been going around. It feels like everyone is ill.
Look at the daft days cardigan by Rebecca Clow. It’s made for an advent too and very beautiful
Thank you! It has too much of main colour, I'm afraid my beautiful advent would be lost in it.
@@FinnishKnittingStories Ah i see :) You´ll find the perfect pattern
Have you looked at the Confectionary Cardigan by Lynn Sibley - that might be nice for the fade. I have started it but going to do both panels at the same time 😊
Thank you for the suggestion!
I like the home day: everything looks so cozy though it would be even better if you were feeling better (hopefully very soon). I think I should have got my teens the cleaning advent this year. See you tomorrow!
😄❤️
Good on you Sofia a jammies day is a brilliant idea... Jana love watching your channel and daily during December is awesome.... nive break from the 28 degrees Celsius outside today.
What other channels do you watch during vlogmas?
Thank you! I try to watch as many as I can, here are a few of my favourites - Back to Blighty, Simply in Stitches, Tales from Cuckoo Land, This Little Wonderful Life... Just to name a few. 😊
Hope you feel better soon! This is my first time knitting the cozy knitter advent socks, but I didn't start until yesterday so I've just finished the cuff and am about to start the first stripe!
What a lovely episode ❤ Please would you keep us updated on the cleaning advent calendar? Or maybe can you tell me the Instagram channel name? Probably the automatic translation is enough. I would love to participate.
I linked her in the description. boniasiivous on Instagram. 😊
🤶🧶
Right when you mentioned Sofia cooking for you, you unwrapped a pink! fiber 🤭😸 Would it make a good material for felting a toy for example! 🙃 😸 Is felting fiber different than spinning fiber? Can't remember what we used to felt from, when I was a teen
You can use non-superwash spinning fibre for felting. Usually, the higher quality fibre is used for spinning, and all the little bits can be carded and used for felting. 😊
Good to know, @@FinnishKnittingStories thanks for the answer! 😸
Hi Jana! Do you make Nisu? I’m looking for tips on it. We used to have it at Christmas. I have not had it in a long time and was thinking of making it.
My mother-in-law makes it, she's much better at baking. Luckily my husband got her talent and passion for working with dough. 😊❤️
Hi Jana, we are having a virus go through our house too. Do you havea link to the cleaning vlogmas?
Hope you all feel better soon!
I linked the lady down below. She's boniasiivous on Instagram.
