I think on Friday nobody is going to watch but on Saturday the ratings are going to be HUGE!
They didn't want to participate. Big deal. Another social media controversy over nothing. Imagine that. 🙄
It's all good. I think 3-point contest is only on ESPN and now I won't have to get some free ESPN trial just to watch Sabrina and Caitlin.

The Wnba players, coaches and managers hate money. No Rookie on the USA Olympics Team, no fan favorite in the 3pts contest, no all star participating in the skills challenge on friday. All that while many coaches and players insult the new influx of fans but demand more money and coverage for years. CC223D is a team player and doesn't seem motivated by personal competitions.
Clark , Ionescu and Plum not in the 3 point contest is wild but CC and Sab both turned it down
The WNBA pays the participants and winners of those AllStar events a paltry sum of money. Plus Clark is exhausted from playing since the Fall of 2023. She needs a vacation to recharge and work on her game.

I wonder if Clark and Ionescu thought that building up the anticipation for future years is better than giving us this right from the get go. I’m still hopeful they will be in the contest as a surprise right before it starts. But that’s wishful thinking 😂
W-ENVY-A is just paying $1K to participate and $2.5K for winning! Which star would like to participate?! Specially those in Max Contract or CC who earns that by the minute with her sponsorships and other activities! Hahahaha 😂, and the stupid league still thought they were going to give their time for free while the league was earning real money with them! Well done Sabrina and CC! She’s in the all star game. That’s the important part. Rather have her rest and do great in the game. We still love us some CC.
They chose the players with the best 3P%. I am cool with that, once they are consistent
I think CC is tired and her shot is off because of it so she does not want to do it and look horrible. Same time maybe she worried she would win it. If Sabrina was in it then it would open the door for her because chances are Sabrina would win it for sure. Without her and Clark dominates then just 1 more thing for people to complain about her winning everything. She wants to do well and win but I think she has record fatigue also. Want to be known a s a winner and not just someone who breaks every record.

She didn't have many practice of her three points because Sides precent her to, and maybe she feel tired and not good participating. She also know other people will use her again to compare to others create issues for content, for rating and Sabrina and her are close and they don't want to play with these games.

So you got no proof that Caitlin or Sabrina declined. You are guessing as everyone else. WNBA needs to release a statement why both of them were selected.
Sabrina said on X she declined and the WNBA said Clark declined
