@@davidroymartin My wife and I were laughing as we went to 2 separate Savage Country big Poi's and got Zero Legendary. then traveling to the trader and checking every single bag, I picked up some random garbage and there it was. Lol.

Ya well he is lying since he has no clue what he’s talking about you can find legendary parts anywhere and before level 15 definitely I found some like other people that have made comments in garbage or in vehicles or just about anywhere you might loot and why he’s on here with his BS propaganda lies who knows just ignorance and let him come at me with his snarky reply like he did with some others that commented since I just ignore people that are ignorant like this lol

One thing: 200% increase is triple as 100% increase is double.
if it adds 200%, it is not doubling. It's tripling

This ties in with my experience in that I double looted a Savage Country store and got 10 legendary parts. The store has an insane amount of lootable clothing/racks. More than a stack of armour parts. As others have said, other components may be more of a bottleneck. I have more than enough legendary parts.
Heh, first legendary part I found was in a pile of garbage in the middle of a road while on the way to the first trader.

Lvl 13 here I got 4 in my storage. Is it worth spending on lvl 6 stone axe? Or just wait for iron tools?

If anyone asked me where they might find legendary parts, I'd just tell them to loot any Savage Country stores they can find. I did one recently and walked out with 4 legendary parts and 27 armour parts. that was not the biggest Savage Country in the game.
This is exactly what I do when I search for legendary parts. Clothing/shoe containers seem to have the best non guaranteed drop rate and savage countries have the highest density of them.
I wouldn't say guaranteed, I myself got 3 ledgenary parts from teir 2 quests, might just be more common with the higher teir quests
A little tip, loot the area before you start the quest, it resets all looted and doubles loot.
Might have been easier to make a list of what don’t drop them.

Started a new game little bit ago, first house I searched got legendary part. So the not getting one under lvl 15 musta got changed.
are you sure you were not 15 already cause I double check it just now an it hasn't changed.

Anyone who does not believe me can open the XML files in any text editor and just search legendaryparts you'll see that they only show up in one other group and that's for a quest.

This is a quirk of language, but what you have said confuses me a bit, and I hope you can clarify. You said "increase your chance [of getting Legendary Parts] by 200%, so basically doubles your chance" and later on, on screen, you also said "That's a 200% increase". But you also said "your chance to find Legendary Parts is a 5% ... but you can increase that to 10% by getting all the Wasteland Treasures books".
That does not compute. An increase of/by 200% triples your original chance. Your original chance, call it 1, if increased by 200%, is effectively +2 (since 200% of 1 is 2), hence 3 is your improved chance. You can say "That's 200% your original chance", if that's what you meant, or you can say that it triples your chance, if that's what you meant. If it's from 5% to 10%, that's an increase of 100%, or double your original chance. Think about it this way: if it went from 5% to 6%, that's an increase of 20%, as your chances just went up by 20% or a fifth.
So... which is it? 3X your original chance or from 5% to 10%? Appreciate if you can clarify. Thanks.
0.05 x 200% = 0.1 aka 10%
0.05 x 100% = 0.05
@@Firespark81 Exactly. Hence, there is an increase of 100% (0.05) to your original chance of 0.05. Your original increased by 100%, or the same amount. If it stayed the same, there would be an increase of 0%. Taking my example of a 5% to 6%,chance, the original would have increased BY 20%, or the chance would have increased TO 120% of the original, or the new chance is 120% of the original. The original starts off at 100% of its initial value (obvious, but still should be said). Hence why I said this was a quirk of language and I wasn't sure which was meant. Now that I know it's a straight doubling from 5% to 10%, that leave my question answered and I am very happy. Thank you, and keep up the good work!

I hate that the outfit is 1 piece instead of top and bottom. Also how did they improve character looks but are somehow still ugly with less customizing? Only thing improved are the vehicles, loot sound effect and the dew collector, not impressed by the other changes.

They are fairly common and might get a % rebalance tbh. I play 25% Xp and loot, and started finding them on the second day.
The choke point becomes armor crafting kits in my case tbh.
At a 5% chance I'd say you are just getting lucky. You can find the parts you need for kits in all the same stuff. They are in the same loot group.
@@Firespark81 Could be, the first two legendary parts I got were in the end of POI loot containers. Also at 25% loot you get so little that % might get skewed. Often times it takes a tier V to get a single armor part or a few to get an armor and end up getting a few parts at the trader as a result.

you keep saying "double your chance" but a 200% increase is a tripling. otherwise an increase of 100% wouldnt be an increase. and an increase of 50% would be a decrease of 50%.

legendary parts suck i can make guns level 6 but i cant make them becouse of the lak of legendary parts what a bummer
Cant the area your in effect your looting? Or did they change that? Like desert and waste land is better looting rate then say the forest.

Are you sure that's a5% and 10%, I think it might actually be a weight of 5 or 10. The parts aren't obscenely rare but it definitely doesn't feel like a 5% minimum.
The code in the XML file says perc_add. Perc is percent.

I found 3 on day 1. Two in the trash on the road to my first trader and a shopping cart. I was still under level 5 for sure by then.
