Such a treat. One of the best Tokyo Rickshaw ride I've ever seen. Nothing less than perfection, do not change anything, GTJT Onii-san : this is it.
Beautiful, genki and funnier than ever. Mii-san, was on 🔥 from start to finish. Awesome vid, full of life and so rich in content. As a long-time Tokyo Richshaw fan, I know and love Asakusa more than any other part of the city already but the way GTJT is showing it in his jinrishicka content is making me even more curious and impatient to visit and see this unique place with my own eyes. So inspirational, fantastic work.
There are not many drivers as witty, engaging, friendly and accessible as Suzuki-san. She is unique. I knew her bright personality and irresistible humor as a trainee already but when you add to that the confidence, knowledge and experience she has gained since, you can tell Mii-san has been working very hard and just how much she "stepped up her game", like we said in the West.
Then again, it takes two to have such a talk. Even when Mii-san turned up the table and kindly tried to "take charge of the interview", GTJT remained on point and spoke at length about Yamaguchi without ever monopolizing the conversation, leaving each time enough time for Mii-san to react and comment, before eventually asking yourself about her hometown / place in Aichi. I think GTJT should ask the question to all the drivers. For advanced 日本語-students, knowing roughly one's origin helps focusing not on the pitch/accent but more effectively on the "regional" / "provincial" idioms and turns of phrases. And awesome job on the captions and English subs, as always.
Great work around Rokku-dori, too. Bīto Takeshi / "Beat" Takeshi-san aka Takeshi Kitano outside of Japan, will be pleased to know someone did his homework, for once. Not only is Mr Takeshi an immense actor and filmmaker but he also happens to be a local celebrity since his early years as a Manzai comedy artist in Asakusa. Thank you for this, Mii-san / GTJT. Furyo (1983), Hana-bi (1997), Battle Royale (2000), and Zatoichi (2003) to name only these, are all classics, each in its style. Respect and best regards to Beat Takeshi-dono, Legendary Big Boss of Asakusa.

I've never seen Mii-san enjoying herself as much as during this shoot. So witty and cheeky at one moment, then the next suddenly back to pro and always so very polite towards the shopkeepers and pedestrians. Most enjoyable ride I've ever watched. Can't wait to see more from GTJT Onii-san.

おはようございます。きのう浅草の洋食店ヨシカミをおすすめしましたがもう一件名店が、あります。浅草演芸ホールの近くにありビートたけしさんが良くかよっていたお店鯨やさんです。ちなみに鯨やさんの店長さんも元芸人さんでビートたけしさんの兄でしのような方だそうで今では浅草演芸ホールに出てる芸人さん若手の芸人などが良く鯨やさんにかよっていてタレントの劇団ひとりさんも鯨やさんにかよっていたそうです。
