Explore Tokyo with me! In this Day in the Life video me and Duncan check out some of the spots from Lost in Translation (Shibuya Karaoke-kan and the Park Hyatt in Shinjuku). This video is so beautiful! Although I live in the countryside, I fulfilled my dream of moving out of my house and live in Tokyo but I was so busy I had forgotten how much I wanted to live here. I was even starting to only look at the bad sides of Tokyo and kept complaIning about my life here. This video made me remember how much I dreamed about being in my place right now and it made me realize that I really need to get out of my comfort zone and explore.

This was just lovely. It made me miss Tokyo so much. I've only been there on holiday once when I was a teenager, but I went with my dad who died a few years later so it makes it all the more special to me. Japan was his favourite country in the world and he went there a lot for business, so I always have a bittersweet feeling towards Tokyo and Japan in general. :')
