I had the impression that the kiss was a goodbye kiss for Penelope, a way of stopping her feelings. Whereas for him the kiss was a realization of his feelings.
She certainly did not expect anything out of it - for her that ship was fantasy - she was more than prepared to marry Debling - Colin is the one that destroyed that.
I think this is true. She had no illusions that he felt anything romantic for her at that point or that she’d ever marry. Just asking a friend for a favour. I loved the look he gave her just before. So compassionate. Romance or not she meant the world to him
They always had a connection. Even if it took that kiss for him to realize how deep that connection went, it was only a matter of time before he knew he loved her.
No they didn’t she had to chase him and beg him for a kiss before he knew he liked him

Eu acho que ele sempre amou Penélope, pelo gente que ele olha pra ela , desde a primeira temporada , mas que ele tentando ser o que associedade espera ele não percebeu o que pela Penélope não era só amizade era amor também. O que sentia pela Marina era atração e por ela ser bonita , era uma fantasia de um menino. Porque ele não conseguiu dá um beijo na Marina na primeira temporada . Se amasse ele ia ligar por convenções. O jeito quando ele olhou pra Penélope na segunda temporada quando chegou era um olhar de homem completamente apaixonado.

I never noticed the change of Penelope’s voice and how she speaks… until now 😮. It’s like watching a flower slowly unfurl its petal, a beautiful transformation 💗✨

In my view, she and Colin both had a big "glow up" this season. In previous seasons, he was cute for sure but boyish and no where near the hunk he is this season. i found his brother, particularly Benedict, much more attractive. But now! Wow!
The have grown up together and it is beautiful to see.

I loved the first kiss and the way it happened. I loved the dream of them kissing again but it was HIM that woke up, I loved his jealousy when he realized he had feelings for her and saw her with other men, I loved his declaration of his feelings, I loved his proposal
I loved their first sexual encounter ( the first time they made love ) in the book….
This was great! I thought season 3 felt rushed because it only took 4 episodes for Colin to propose but your video puts into perspective that it was actually 3 seasons in the making. And with that context, their story is much more engaging. So thank you!!
This is what I have known for this season. It isn't just a one season romance, it's a relationship that has been going on since the first episode of season one
So true but I also think the next half of the season is going to be him realising how in love he really is with her and with her being Whistledown which he will inevitably find out ect. He’s admitted his feelings but I don’t think he knows the extent of them
See he didn't lie when he said he wouldn't court her... he skipped straight to marriage
Well ... he had his hand up her dress feeling her most intimate place - a think a marriage proposal was a foregone conclusion..
She never expected him to court her ever - but humiliating her in public like that was over the top - he was behaving like a total ass and deserved the tongue lashing that she gave him.
But it also showed his dependence on her - he was not happy when she did not write him back and gave him the cold shoulder.
Has anyone else noticed that everytime she is able to talk to another man without getting flustered is when she's next to a lemonade table? first with that guy in the wheelchair and then Lord Debling the first few times they started talking. It's because she's comfortable imagining herself talking to Colin in the drawing room!

Let's be honest...we have been rooting for these 2 since day one! Their chemistry is undeniable...She's so gorgeous.. the fact that they slammed her up was great...I noticed she lost weight (which imo she didn't have to)..but. she is beautiful and Colin has always been smitten with her..and yes friendship is a great foundation for a romantic relationship
If she has lost weight it’s got nothing to do with the show, no one told her she needed to loose weight, they changed the silhouette of her dresses so it better suited her curves. They purposely put her in dresses that weren’t suited to her body type in the first two seasons so she could have a glow up in season three
No she didn't loose any weight, just the makers wanted to make her look like a child in the earlier season but now wanted to show her as damn hott lady

I have several comments.
First, that carriage scene… I love you would have been (one star ⭐️). “These past few weeks have been full of confounding feelings. Feelings like a total inability to stop thinking about you. About our kiss. Feelings like dreaming of you when I’m asleep, and in fact preferring sleep because that is where I might find you. A feeling that is like torture, but one which I cannot, will not, do not want to give up” (ten stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)!
Second, that violin 🎻 music by Pitbull during the carriage scene called “Give me everything”. Give her everything Colin!
Third, is anyone as crazy and obsessed as me to watch these 4 episodes of season 3 over and over (probably 20 times by now for me) and only watch all the Penelope/Colin scenes?? (editing out all the others and fast forwarding until the next Penelope/Colin scene). I’ve even taken to reading the book Romancing Mister Bridgerton as I can barely contain my focus and attention on anything else in life! I am completely obsessed. And truth be told ? I would change places with Penelope in a second!
Fourth, another good/profound quote from Julie Andrews (as Lady W) “Perhaps a return to the shadows is for the best. After all a small taste of the light can lead to that most dangerous of emotions…hope. And once hope is lost, a lady may become reckless”.
Fifth, what happened to Colin in S3? In S1 and 2 I did not at all find him attractive. S3…. OMG

Imagine if we could live in world where men were gentlmen and asked a woman to marry them after a kiss or hooking up with them when feeling in love. Daaaamn! I always felt drown to those eras when dignity and honor stood up on high level and were cherished, much more than today’s one when it’s completely opposite and people break up after few months and treating love and partners as if it’s a toy to play with. So sad.

Eu concordo em parte com a colega, tentaram nessa série tirar o ar infantil de Colen, colocando ele em cenas de sexo com mulheres, nosso lado romântico não entende muito bem isso, porém nos estamos em 2024 onde uma parte do público espera cena de sexo com Colin e Penélope, e me parece que terão muitas cenas de sexo, entre o casal na 2° parte e como eles se justificariam a performance de Colin, se ele não tivesse nas viagens mudado, e até ficado mais experiente para depois justificar as cenas que vamos assistir dele com a Penélope, porém dentro da própria carruagem ele diz, estava tentando ser quem a sociedade espera que eu fosse, só que ele ao beijar Pen, compreende que ser um libertino não é pra ele, a Penélope o completa, acho que trazer o romantismo do livro para um público que hoje em dia dá muito valor em sexo, não venderia, muita gente iria reclamar dele, por isso, colocaram esse lado de liberino nele, porém isso, não é a essência de Colin, e agora na 2° parte onde ele, vai ser exclusivamente de Pen, será bem melhor para nos que amamos o Colin, doce, amoroso, cavalheiro dos livros. Esse aos poucos, conseguiu entender que sempre amou Penélope, agora concordo com o Lorde loirão, lindo comedor de alface 🥬 foi uma surpresa muito boa, pena que ja havia deixado claro que o coração dele ja tinha dona, a natureza, as suas viagens e Pen sempre estaria sozinha. ⭐ Benedict character collapsed( where is his passion for art)he is simply roaming and having affair with widow....
⭐ No significant reason for Francesca's interest towards John kilmartin... don't convince me by saying they both are introverts....
