All Ridley Battles in the Metroid Series in Chronological Order

- Опубліковано 4 жов 2021
- to celebrate the release of Metroid Dread, i put together all past battles with Ridley in their canonical order leading up to Dread.
some notes:
-NES Metroid and Zero Mission are in the same place canonically. i ordered them by release date and since Zero Mission has 2 fights, that one by sequence.
-Metroid Prime and Prime Pinball are in the same place canonically so i ordered by release order.
-the fights in Metroid Prime 3 are ordered by sequence.
as of the time of this upload i don't know if he's in Dread but if he is, i'll post an updated version of this video later.

I spent too much time on this
Nice
@@doctorspiders thank you :)
Awesome
It's funny seeing all of these cinematic and serious fights then out of nowhere, pinball
Can’t wait to see Don Cheadle as Ridley
What
The fight with him in Metroid Samus Returns is the hardest in my opinion.
Yes but possibly the best Ridley fight in the whole series
@@FriendlyNeighborhoodGeek99 Agreed! I understand why Metroid II purists don't like his sudden appearance at the end, but tbh having played the entire series, it's a welcome addition, a unique twist, and one of the most dynamic battles in the game!
Ridley will always be my favorite video game villain
Did anyone else notice in the Mecha Ridley fight Samus shooting to the sound of Mecha Ridley approaching?
yep i did
Thank you for this video, been looking for someone to do it!
I swear Ridley and Samus are like Buck and Rudy from ice age
Excited for Metroid dread?
welcome to fun :)
Other M was my official first Ridley battle and I was scare and lost my mind and lost on my first playthrough.
He was the hardest fight I had and most favorite one.
P.s. only in my opinion Metroid is always popular with Ridley appearance
So Ridley ends not on a console, but on the Gameboy.
Yes in the events of fusion
3:33 Can someone please explain to me how he lost almost all of his health in like 3 seconds?
He hit his head on the stone
It's a little late, but it's a speed run trick with the boost ball. If you do it right it gets rid of about 2/3 of his health
@@fredbornhouser6633It's a little late, but thanks for the info :)
Ridley: I'm the best Metroid villain
Raven beak: hi
This is just my opinion
I love ridley and I think he's a great antogonist
But idk i find raven beak more interesting
and thos Samus begins a Raging moment while ending raven break like a metroid.
True. They are both great for different reasons. Raven Beak has personal emotional ties to Samus and a cunning plot, while Ridley is just an asshat who kills and challenges Samus
@@samquik Ridley dose have some personal ties with Samus he is the reason she ended up with the chozo in the first place
@@Mr.Board_ yeah but it's not a plot point. Samus and Ridley never talk about that, in fact no one in the games ever mention it at all. it's just "something that happened"
I guess Ridley won't ever appear in Metroid Dread and Metroid Prime 4 since he's truly dead in Metroid Fusion.
he died in Super and still came back in Other M and Fusion because he was cloned. it's always possible for him to return.
Apparently we'll meet Ridley's original source, the Chozo from which Ridley was cloned, he'll probably be the main antagonist as well.
@@moondawwg Wait what?
@@MadaoJoestar probably not
@@moondawwg where did you find this?
That's why we Couldn't see Ridley on Metroid Dread
Do Kraid next if you haven't already.
I wish the player did the finish counter on Proteus Ridley.
You ask too much from an incompetent like this one. In the First fight it's even cheating...
Ridley coming back from the dead is like Reverse-Flash coming back from being erased to torture Flash again...
What? It is similar if you think about it.
Is it just the 3d or does it feel like ridley has a lot more mobility in metroid prime
GBA Ridley sounds are cannon.
Omega Ridley remix theme
how the hell is ridley even the space pirate leader like all he does is scream at people how does anyone understand him
Would *you* back talk this guy?
I mean look at his claws and tail!
@@1179next not just that but actually is very intelligent and can even speak with actual words he just doesn’t because it’s intimidating.
@@Blazing_Emblem_Natsumi that too
@@Blazing_Emblem_Natsumi But here's the thing. We never heard him speak. Like, at all. So how come he never does that?
@@brendanstephens2575 We don’t hear him speak but he has in the manga (which IS canon). Plus, screaming is more intimidating.
The metroid games go metroid 1, prime 1 then hunters then prime 2 & 3 followed by metroid 2 then other m then super metroid then fusion then dread. Metroid 2 is omega ridley and super metroid is clone ridley from other m... got those two backwards but other than that good clip
Other M comes after Super. how did you even mix that up? Other M's opening is literally the final fight of Super Metroid.
@@MadaoJoestar Yours is correct. This guy mixed them up completely
@@MadaoJoestar should we really even consider Other M canon? It totally *fucked* with Samus' character.
@@ezrafaulk3076 Sakamoto does and he's the one in charge of the series.
@@MadaoJoestar I'm still not sure *we* should; Samus definitely *wasn't* being her strong, independent self there.
