Pasting this around the block: I got this fancy new P-SB7 PRO, very expensive spirit box... I have NO idea how to optimize its features, such as the scan step and sweep rate combinations. I want someone to make a video saying their favorite settings. I do have experience with the SB7, but this is different. It's so new and kinda pricey, so I'm having a hard time finding others with the device. If anyone has one, can you help me out?

The standard P-SB7 and other radio's sweep in 200 kHz (0.2 MHz) wide steps and can pass audio and subcarrier frequencies up to 100 kHz. The PSB7-PRO's frequency bandwidth is fully programmable by the user which enables access to sidebands around the primary radio stations. One of the things I was able to verify using my RadioX-ITC research device is that Spirits require a certain amount of signal strength around the primary radio station received; not too much and not too little to "drop" their words in place within the smaller frequency steps. By using 10kHz, 20kHz or 40kHz wide frequency steps at the higher speed, you create a large fertile response "zone" around the primary (strong) radio stations. ALL clear, Muti-word Spirit responses occur around the stronger radio stations. I verified this using RadioX-ITC and posted video showing how this occurs.

Man you get so good responses. I've not had good luck with higher sweeps. Maybe after you release the pro you can educate me and us more..
