“Cowboys to Girls” and “I’ll Always Love My Mama” are my favorites by The Intruders! They have some of the best music! The harmony and vocals are amazing! 👍🏽❤️😎🔥The message in this song 🎵 is so romantic 💘! Yes! The men were so manly! 😎❤️ I love the request! 😎❤️⭐️ What a heartfelt reaction by Ashley! 👍🏽❤️😎⭐️🔥
Girl when you put your hand on your hip we know you are all in the groove of the music. I love it 😊 God's continuous blessings to you and your family 🥰
Ms. Ashley, this joint right here is back in the day, as my pops tells it, when the cats sang their hearts out to women in beautiful melodies and voices to let the ladies know how much they appreciated and cherished them. We gotta bring it back! And it seems these old school ballads are slowly making its way back when you hear artists like October London, Silk Sonic, Daniel Ceasar, Giveon, and Anderson .Paak and Knxwledge collabs.
This is like the music ya hear when you’re sitting there brushing your hair and I come up behind you and gently move your hair off your neck and start kissing your neck…. But those days are over.💔 I lost my love 5 years ago and my heart can’t take that again!
This group put Philly Inc.on the map but grossly underrated. They are North Philly Boys. I was blessed as a kid to see them in the neighborhood. We would shine shoes at night in front of the bars and catch them as well as other Philly Legends. They have a great catalog of music 🎶
Yes, smooth as a bottle of 20 yr old scotch!!! This is definitely a "slow drag" song!!! "Big Sonny, Little Sonny, Phil & Bird"... Philly boys do it every time 💯🔥🎶💖
We don't let it die. Our generation still has that playing when our woman walks in the door and give her a kiss and a glass of her favorite to help her unwind. We still give it all.
There are certain songs that when I see the title in my TL, I just laugh cause I already know Ashley has no idea what’s about to hit her…this was definitely one of those reactions. 🤣🤣🤣
Oh yes I remember those days vividly back in the late 70s and early 80s. First I would escort my lady to the movies in downtown Detroit where we had choices of about 5 or 6 theaters all within a few blocks of each other. Then we'd go to The Flaming Embers when it was solely a restaurant at that time. And man did they have some delicious steaks. I remember something funny occurred there once. I ordered a sirloin steak and my sweet love a porterhouse. I looked at the sizes those steakes and mine was like the size of maybe a flattened softball and her's as big as a softball glove! She was trying hard not to laugh but since I was paying she held it in lol. It Was funny though y'all. It might have been small but that sirloin was oh so *_Go-ood_* on my taste buds! 😋
I remember this song. I miss the days when cute guys would hit on you and compliment you when you were walking down the street. They're afraid to do that now. Oh how I loved being young in the 1960s and 1970s in northern California.
This is Philly Soul! These brothers are from North Philly! The sweets he was reffering to are Tastyt kakes, they are a staple in Philly like just like the cheese stake. Ps and on the lpow this is how many of us learned how to rap to sisters! #wearethe215...Also check their song Together!
You missed the horns when he said you're the kind of girl I've been looking for. They were the horns usually associated with the fox hunt in England. Lots of thought went into the production. Check it out.
Sonny didn't try to plan 50 dates at the same time but one date doing several things. The men in my day really wanted to woo the lady that they wanted, and did not think she should have to put out because they really appreciated spending time with her. It seems like men today think that a date means a woman has to put out if they accept an invitation for a date. Yuck!
I know you recently reviewed the Force MDs, who you loved. Among many other great songs they sung so well, they also made a cover of this song! Check out their cover here: ua-cam.com/video/8EW2hkgC-jc/v-deo.htmlsi=O8vFVjkpCFbsMRa-

The best song intruders ever made is the anthem for mother day
Little Sonny is the forth one at the end, on the right end. I remember, my mom had this but, I've always been a music connoisseur!!!
That's funny because I kept imagining the lead singer was the one on the far left.
First time I'd heard this song I was like.."Lady would you please tell this guy your name so he can finally stop asking"....
Yep, I'll Always Love My Mama is a classic. Step back further with the Intruders and listen to Be On Time. Another must hear track from this group.
The Intruders' other big hit was "I'll Always Love My Mama." You definitely should hear that one.
Activated your ROMATIC button again Ashley. I know which one of your playlist this song is going on.
Yes, smooth as a bottle of 20 yr old scotch!!! This is definitely a "slow drag" song!!! "Big Sonny, Little Sonny, Phil & Bird"... Philly boys do it every time 💯🔥🎶💖
Force MDs did a very good rendition of this song in the 80s!
Speak Ashley!!!
Love this song!!! & I'll say "Together,"by The Intruders, redone by Tierra in the late '70's!!!
"When we get married".. Classic Intruders sound.
Cmon Ashley❤❤❤❤❤ The Intruders, yesssss I want to know your name
We don't let it die.
Our generation still has that playing when our woman walks in the door and give her a kiss and a glass of her favorite to help her unwind.
