Maize Check, Is It Ready? Changes For Next Year??

Darcy is making his annual appearance and taking a look at my maize to see when it will be ready for harvest, it's been a good growing year for it but there are a few concerns I have that I run past him for advice.

I agree with Darcy, get the maize in the pit! Not much benefit going over 30%DM, digestible fibre just turns into indigestible fibre.

I would seriously consider using a side sheet when you clamp the maize this year. It will help with the waste you see on the edges.
