I did the same thing with my son at first his mother and family made me recognise my son even my own mom said that"s you she showed me a photo of me at about 5yrs we are identical. I attended his high school graduation but did not bond . I lived in LA and he lived in Philly. To make a long story short I had a job that made me able to pay back support and help him get his college degree we talked hours on the phone together. The best thing is we now see each other; I just love to be able to spend time with my son.My son has a far advanced way of thinking than I did at his age.Bottom line is I'm so happy to now spend time with my son.
