Lack of funding, along with the lack of access to resources to develop our skills, degrades the quality of education. For instance, if you're pursuing a B.Sc course in a hotel management college and you don't have frequent access to the kitchen premises, it causes a problem especially for those who are weak in that respective area. We thank you both for all you do for Knox County. One must question why, if the State's funding of county schools is based on a mathematical formula , why Knox County School funding dropped so significantly after BH left office. Shouldn't it: stay level; gradually increase; or, gradually decrease? Did the formula change from last year?
c103110a I would assume the formula did change last year, thats my best guess as to why the decrease was pretty dramatic compared to past years. Other then that I wouldn’t know why else the drop would be that drastic.
