Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs Reads for Family Literacy Night

Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs reads Dr. Seuss's "Green Eggs and Ham" for a book walk at Pellissippi State's Family Literacy Night event. When the reading stops, the kids stop and free books are handed out to the lucky winners!
Family Literacy Night was made possible by support from United Way of Greater Knoxville and East Tennessee Child Care Resource and Referral Network. Educational activities were provided by Pellissippi State Early Childhood Education students as well as Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, Knoxville Association for Children’s Early Education, East Tennessee PBS and Parents as Teachers.
