It’s been a minute since I’ve caught an Ork game and Adrian’s army looks SO GOOD
good morning from Germany, evening stream was 1am my time, better to have it (not life) in the morning then.
farseer skyrunner doesn't give -1 to wound, that's the foot version
Love the 10 Karandras. Every list should have 10 of these.
Adrian should of used the grot strat when the spiders fell back to possible mortals and move into a better position
Those eldar models are stunning.
DREAD MOB!!!
WAAAGGHH!!!
Unless I'm misinterpreting the collection of FAQ questions, there wouldn't have been an additional fate dice on turn 1 as abilities are resolved before checking for scoring. Bit of a nerf to guardian defenders, but i am happy to see them in the game! 😁
The extra Fate dice from Guardians specifies that is handed out at the end of the command phase, which is simultaneous with when you gain control of objectives ("at the end of any phase" = end of first command phase in this case).
In the newest version of the rules, if two things happen simultaneously the player whose turn it is decides which of the two happens first. So if they go first the Eldar player just decides that they gain control of the VP before the Guardian's Fate Die ability is activated.
@Gokerz Except on page 10 of the rules commentary, it is specified that rules are resolved before checking for scoring of primary and secondary. On that same page they answer that it is impossible for any player to own an objective before the end of their first command phase. The guardians need to be on an objective they control to generate the additional fate dice. According to the FAQs on timing/sequencing would be checked before you check for primary and secondary. Their ability activates from turn 2 onwards now.
@@Arshelan scoring is independent of getting control of VP.
@Gokerz But they're not happening simultaneously anymore. They've put an order to the sequencing that would deny sticky abilities or the guardians working on turn 1.
1) abilities
2) checking for conditions for primary and secondaries
Number 2 would include cards like extend battle lines and Storm hostile objective that check for control of an objective. Primary also checks based on oc for establishing control which would suggest that you don't even start looking at oc for control of an objective until this next step in the sequencing.
@@Arshelan to elaborate, the guardians don't need control "before" the end of the command phase. Their ability triggers AT the end of the command phase simultaneously with gaining control of objectives. Then, once all rules are resolved VP get scored. If you look at p10 of the commentary they specifically only talk about conflicts with stuff that happens "before" the "end of the command phase".
Don't Zodgrod's grots only get to scout move 6" on foot?
Per the core rules FAQ RE positioning and movement, paraphrased: a unit may not make a normal kove greater than their move characteristic.
And per Scouts x": the unit may make a normal move of up to x". If in a Dedicated Transport, that Transport unit may make the scout move instead
If that wasn't the intent I'd love to see James Workshop get their rules right before the edition ends
Is it just me or is Eldar list only 1920 pts? Best guess is missing a unit of Shroudrunners or a foot Farseer to buff the Avatar
Autarch Wayleaper gives +1 to leadership rolls so a 5 would have passed battleshock
War walkers don’t explode either.
Man, Eldar always get beefed with the fate dice. I haven't had a solid roll since the chop down to 6...
Farseers are very good for this just keep 6 and flip them to 6s with some guardians I haven't had an issue with it at all
I usually keep whatever I get since I'll have a Farseer to flip whatever I use
Yup hate eldar
I really feel like the point of a battle report is getting lost on you guys.
Elaborate?
@@timfiala383 far too much off topic chat. Way way to much crap on the screen. The static cameras make it a huge bore to watch and there so busy answering annoying super chats that they forget to do things and make bone head moves. I dunno just feels like yall have lost a thread
@@arthurcherry5363just a bit of editing is needed. Not to the level of 40k in 40 mins but not more than 2-3 hours
