I just got back from a trip to a local offroad park where side by side RZRs and the like rule the trails. This was refreshing to see that my struggles in the sand are not uncommon :P Your videos are such great quality and your commentary and insights are the perfect compliment to the stories you tell. I love your channel and look forward to every upload. Keep up the great work Oliver and ride safe!

@@MotoVibes hast du einen Vergleich mit einem Bridgstone zb? So ein Video wäre auch super cool. Wenn du einfach deine Meinung dazu abgibst. Deine Vdieos haben mir ja schon geholfen mich zwischen der SAS und SAR zu entscheiden 😁😁 ich liebe die 1290 R erstes Service ist durch und sie ist bereit für alles 🤣
@@DukeOfPain88 ich hatte jetzt einen karoo 4 drauf für das EAT RACE Event am letzten Wochenende- der taugt im Gelände noch etwas mehr. Der Mitas ist halt gut wenn man auch Strecke machen muss und auch viel Asphalt dabei ist. Bei einer 5000-6000 km tour wäre aber auch der Karoo 4 ein super Reifen für die Zukunft

The Duc is probably best suited for tarmac but I have not had the pleasure to try it on the street. The suspension is not made for extended off-road use. It handles really well otherwise considering the size and power. The BMW is a best seller for a reason. Best handling of the bunch - especially at low speed off-road. The suspension is much better than the Ducs but cannot measure up to the R version of the 1290 super adventure for off-road use - also the 21/18“ wheels you only get with KTM. That’s it in a nut shell 😉

What type of light mounts do you have under your fairing. Can the 1290 Adv nose cone carry so much weight?
They are made by SW Motech and are specifically made for this bike

Erstaunlich wie gut die Mitas E07 auch bei nässe im offroad sind, obwohl es ja keine 50/50 Reifen sein sollen.
Was für eine rote Fehlermeldung plagt dich gerade, MTC Fehler oder Federbeinvorspannunghinten ?🙈
Weiß nicht an welcher Stelle Du das gesehen hast. Tippe auf niedrigen Luftdruck hinten. Beim EAT fahre ich mit weniger Luftdruck als die 2,5 bzw 2,9. federbeinvorspannung ist bei der R ja mechanisch da wird es keine rote Fehlermeldung geben 😉
