    Air Dry Clay is great for making so many things, like trinket dishes and bowls and Christmas decorations. I love using it in moulds to make beautiful decorative pieces that I can glue onto jars and pots. It's a good idea to keep a container of water and some paint brushes on hand so you can smooth the clay with the water. Also, you can make some clay slip (as I call it) by mixing clay and water together until you have a thin paste, and then you can use it like a glue to join one piece of clay to another. Slip is also great for keeping your projects smooth and professional looking. Love from Amanda in Australia

    Dry on a wire cookie rack so that air can dry bottom and top at the same time…🎄🎄

    Hint:
    Push your clay into the "mold cavity" using a stainless steel "ball" tool. It makes all the difference in the world!
    A mold is what you push the clay into to get the impression.
    The actual piece is call an applique.
    I really appreciate your efforts In creating your videos.
    I just feel like you're making it all up as you go along.

    I wish I could find the flat ball you used. Love it but can’t find online. Maybe when some of the Christmas shops open up ( I live in Europe!) I will be lucky. 🤞🏻🤞🏻 Beautiful ornaments, thanks for showing us. 🥰🥰🎄🎄🎄🎄

    On the angel ornament, wouldn't it make more sense to let it dry before gluing the two together? That way, you would not have to worry about marring the wet clay.

      Hi, Thanks for watching, You could definitely wait for it to dry first but the there might be some gaps if t doesn't sit completely flat against each other.

    Why ‘blue’ painter’s tape? Can’t I use the normal masking tape?

    • @dancingdaisydesigns531
      @dancingdaisydesigns531  11 місяців тому

      Yes, Regular masking tape will work. I just use blue tape because it is easier to release with no risk stickiness left behind,

      @alicianicole1986 if someone has taken their time to post a video for others to learn from I think you should be more respectful. Everyone's taste is different, when I watch an idea I adapt it to my taste or colour scheme but it may be something I had never have thought of doing without watching the video. I wouldn't walk into someone's home and tell them THEIR decor is tacky I have more respect than that, YOU obviously don't oh and by the way you need to learn to spell!!!!
