  • Thanks to my G.A.S. supplier (‪@mntbighker‬) I recently picked up the XOR Electronics NerdSEQ expander: MULTI-I/O. When trying to squeeze it into my sequencer case, I realized the supplied 14-pin cables were not long enough to put the module where I wanted, so off to the Amazons I go to buy a pack of 14-pin IDC sockets and customize some cabling for my NerdSEQ setup. While at it, I fixed some other cabling issues with this 60HP modular setup.

I realized that I have two Nerdseq's with Multi-IO so I racked them together yesterday attached via I2C. This could be interesting. I ended up with a second one that has a broken expansion bus, but the midi bus still works.

Nerdy is by far my favorite Eurorack sequencer (in my collection, at least.) I haven't had a chance to play with the new Multi-IO yet.

This was a great video even for working out how to plug everything in. I have the same setup and it’s also one of my favorite modules. Thanks again!

Nerdseq is good to compose even with a pad in the Multi I/O but not as flow like the Oxi for live performance, why you cut cables? you will be able to put expanders on top or the other jack outs.

Let's not play the blame game 😂😂😂😂 And get the latest firmware Captain. It looked like the boot screen said 2.0. I need a real cable crimper.
