Sir I wanted to know if covid infection can cause idiopathic trivial tricuspid regurgitation. I was infected with covid 3 months back. The case was mild and I recovered within 14 days. Recently I did a cardio echo which is showing a trivial tricuslid regurgitation with a PASP < 20mmHg & diastolic dysfunction grade 1. No other abnormities were reported in the structure & functionality of the heart. A year back by echo was completely normal. Thank you

Dear Moin, we can unfortunately not dispense medical advice - the best would be for you to get into touch with a medical professional in your country to discuss this issue with them.

    Nonrheumatic aortic (valve) insufficiency
    Nonrheumatic mitral (valve) insufficiency
    Rheumatic tricuspid insufficiency
Cardiomyopathy, unspecified This is my diagnosis . The dx doesn’t say if it’s mild or what ….but if it’s mild should I wait for surgery until is severe ? I have symptoms fatigue even if I’m doing normal things like cleaning the dishes I feel fatigue when I’m laying down I feel fatigue when I eat or drink something I feel fatigue … and I feel dizzy all the time I have to do everything slow .
