    Hi David, Polly and I are well on our way thanks to you and the clear information you gave us during our consultation. The Mind Lab Pro works and is very helpful along with the Performance Lab products we're using. We are in process of hormone tests and have found a doctor here to work with us who is aligned with the concepts you discussed with us. Such a blessing !!
    Every minute I've spent reading the researched information available on your website has paid handsome dividends. Knowledge - especially about one's own brain - really is power. Merry (late) Christmas and God Bless You !!
    Chris

    Is L-Tyrosine safe to use if you take it for a long time? I read that it can build up cancer. What is the daily dose?
    How long can you take Lion's Mane and Rhodeola Rosea? Should you do a break?
    Is the L-Theanine in matcha enough or should I take it additionally? I drink 3 matcha cups per day.

    • @NootropicsExpert
      @NootropicsExpert  8 днів тому

      If Tyrosine caused cancer every person on the planet would be getting cancer. It's not true. You can use Lion's Mane and Rhodiola Rosea long-term without cycling. And it depends on the quality of your Matcha but it may have enough L-Theanine.

    I spent a lot of money with some of these and tested for long time periods and at the end of the day Methylene Blue won the game...still on it 1.5 years daily...Pine Pollen is another staple I use.

    I started taking mind lab pro for mental health issues. I continue taking it for my gut health. Not only did it help with my brain fog and concentration, but it virtually eliminated my irritable bowel. I took it for a week or two...no more constant diarrhea. No more shitting blood. I even gained a little weight back. MLP is a little on the pricey side, but it's worth every penny. I'd recommend it to anyone as a place to start with nootropics.

    About 10 years ago I got in a car accident where my car got spun around 180 degrees and slammed into a large truck's rear bumper on my passenger side and came to a dead stop then bounced off instantly. Ya, just like in the movies is what I saw. I had either red light of red laser therapy for 14 sessions caused by the seat belt. I noticed I also ended up with memory loss issues which slowly got a little worse with time. At about the 2 month point I started studying various herbals/supplements to help me out with this issue. I studied a number of peer reviewed medical journals which near all came from China and found two that showed worth trying. The conclusions were were basically equal for memory loss including various dementias. I was not sure which one to try first and ended up choosing Bacopa of which I tried for perhaps three months and upping the dosage - Bacopa clearly did not work so I tried the other one, which was Rhodiola standardised 500mg/day to - 3% Rosavins and 1% Salidrosides. I found a small but noticeable difference and then more and more to where it stopped the progression of my memory loss - But have not seen an improvement that I was aware of. Then along comes C-19 and the vaxes. My first vax went well and the other two did not go sell for me. These two last vaxes induced memory loss🤣of all things as well as at least three other issues😱. No more of these vaxes for me. I learned to beef up my immune system to a great degree.

    Thank you so much, you give so much-needed valuable information.
    I have a question, I do have ME/CFS and chronic depression also, and sleep disorder,
    taking Adderall and trintellix, trying many supplements, like vitamin B complex, and D +K, started lately Q10, omega3, magnesium . But it seems I am not getting better, the medication helps me moving during the day only, nothing else. If I take these supplements you are recommended, does it contradict the medication? I do wish to be better and be off the drugs in case it is being depriving me from getting the benefits from natural supplements that might be more beneficial for me. Thank you so much.

    • @NootropicsExpert
      @NootropicsExpert  12 днів тому +1

      The supplements I detail in the video are not contraindicated with either drug you are using. These supplements should compliment Adderall use.

    Great video, tank you! Do you use most of these at the same time? Or do you cycle them?

    • @NootropicsExpert
      @NootropicsExpert  17 днів тому +2

      I take them all at the same time with water and a tablespoon of unrefined coconut oil to absorb the fat soluble ingredients. I do not cycle anything because the dosages are correct and most are water soluble so they leave your system after a few hours.

    I’m 72, just had a heart ablation for irregular heartbeat. Otherwise good to go. Which one to make me feel more positive and happy?

    • @NootropicsExpert
      @NootropicsExpert  12 днів тому

      There is no "one pill" solution for anything when it comes to brain health and cognition. Use all of the supplements I talk about in this video following dosage recommendations and timing during the day and you'll likely feel much more positive and hopefully happier compared to before you started using these supplements.

    I've recently been diagnosed with schizoid personality disorder and now I want to find a solution for the anhedonia I had my whole life. I'm currently taking 900mg of NALT daily, but how high can I go and which other supplements do you recommend?

    • @NootropicsExpert
      @NootropicsExpert  12 днів тому

      Better to use 500 mg Tyrosine twice per day than one big dose. And for anhedonia try adding L-Theanine, Huperzine-A every 2nd day, Noopept, Lithium Orotate, Cat's Claw and if that's not enough then add Piracetam. I have videos on each of these on this channel.

    why do I get a headache when I take L tyrosine?

  • @mikael3201
    @mikael3201 15 днів тому

    but caffeine blocks A1 receptor? I doubt it is as good as people want it to be.
    Also if you take L-tyrosine you can skip caffeine?

    • @NootropicsExpert
      @NootropicsExpert  12 днів тому

      Blocking that receptor is how caffeine helps keep you awake. But Tyrosine will not replace caffeine. It will support caffeine use but not replace it.

    Hey doctor is it safe to take 500mg of tryptophan daily with taking tyrosine can that 500mg Tryptophan daily with taking tyrosine cause dopamine deficiency

    • @NootropicsExpert
      @NootropicsExpert  12 днів тому

      500 mg Tryptophan is not likely to cause dopamine and serotonin to go out of balance. But you'll likely feel better if you used 500 mg Tyrosine morning and noon.

    We wish you peaceful and joyful holidays to my nootropics mentor. Would you please make and sell your own mix because I cannot convince my aging parents to take multiple pills. Maybe part 1 for basics and 2 for more additional things, with part one including D3 K2, Mag L-T, and bio available vitamin Bs besides core nootropics for aging brain, please.

    • @NootropicsExpert
      @NootropicsExpert  17 днів тому

      Marika, I have thought of it but the cost of putting together, manufacturing and then distributing my own supplements is crazy expensive. if someone in our community is willing to make a sizable investment in this it can be done.

    I would like to ask your opinion about taking L-Threonate (Magtein) vs L-Theanine ....I was taking L-Threonate as a source of magnesium that crosses / absorbs in the brain better ?

    • @NootropicsExpert
      @NootropicsExpert  17 днів тому

      Magnesium L-Threonate supplies magnesium in a form that can cross the blood-brain barrier. L-Theanine is extracted from green tea and is a completely different amino acid. You can be deficient in magnesium but not in L-Theanine.

    Hello Dr. I have a very important question for me... I am a student and I have to memorize a lot of information... If I take Mind Lab Pro, will the results last forever? If I stop taking it, will I return to my first level? Thank you

    • @NootropicsExpert
      @NootropicsExpert  6 днів тому

      You need to understand how memory works. Long-term memory is encoded in your brain during sleep. Using Mind Lab Pro will benefit memory. And that long-term memory is permanent once it is encoded.
