Just as an FYI to all who watch this video and to all the fans of the Chicago wise guys and Da Grove, the driver of the car at 7:50 died this last Saturday during his run at Great Lakes Dragaway. Charles Weck was his name and he hit the right side of the cement wall after running a 6.2 sec at 204 mph. I was there and watched the crash along with everyone in attendance. I didn't know the guy but I thought I would pass this information along to everyone here so you can offer your condolences.
I was also there on the 30th, and watched it happen. I never met Chuck, but I will most likely be there on the 13th when his ashes are released. Just feel I need to pay my respects.

Love that Bruticus Chevelle. Thats one bad rig. So,....I ust heard about Chucks death. Came here to honor him a bit. Hoping to see him run. Prayers and condolences go out to his family. He seemed like a very special man. God Bless the Weck family.

I miss the way race cars used to look back in 60’s-late 90’s like the way my car is painted and has a name in the side o hate these blank canvas race cars

Chicago Wise Guys is my favorite team so far. They Sill have five events scheduled for the year. I'll try to catch them as much as I can.
