The band is named after the ancient Meshchyora tribe. (From Wikipedia: the tribe lived in the territory between the Oka River and the Klyazma river. It was a land of forests, bogs and lakes. The area is still called the Meshchera Lowlands). Some of the band members are from Ryazan (the Meshchyora National Park is partially situated in the Ryazan' Oblast). They have another project - Sympuls-E (melodeath). It's also worth checking.
Beautiful video, and she’s got a beautiful voice. It does not bother me that i dont understand the lyrics, just enjoying the feeling the song gives me. Enjoyed this 👍😀
Listen to another more well-known russian folk-pagan-metal band called GRAY (reads as "gray") and it's such iconic songs like In The ArmsOf Mara ( at first), Thread Of Winter and The Birch among the others. I'm sure, they will immerse in the ancient , mysterious atmosphere.
This song brings me to tears each time... this band is unbelievable.
NORMALNO EBASHIT)))🤘🤘🤘

good choice
It's ok, I just don't understand any lyrics so I'm just lost lol, sorry.
So, what about a chaotic mathcore? Just try to "The Syters" "Cyclonic".
That being said I personally might like the actual original folk style but language barrier may still be a factor.
You pronounce it way wrong, bro. It is a famous mysterious location here, pronounced Me-SH-U-RA
