@@Olly_2024_ i just bought the xt case and yes it does have magsafe but the grip is not as good as the regular defender pro i dont know why they cant make the regular defender pro with magsafe too
Received my 15 Pro Max today. And I have the Otterbox Defender pro case. It states wireless charging compatible. I can assure you. It is not. The magnets are not strong enough to get through the rubber coating to charge the phone. And if removing the protective rubber is a condition to charge it, then that's about pointless.
Always been a fan for otterbox but the problem with there cases is after while of having them on the sides of the phone get really beat up. Scratches and knicks from dust getting in the corners of the plastic. They really need to fix the problem. It’s been like that forever now.
I was going to buy this case until I read this review. That’s a shame. Seems counter productive to have a case that damages your phone over time. Thanks for the heads up 👍
There’s also no MagSafe support. If you try to wirelessly charge, it will heat up the phone a lot with that case. If you try to put a MagSafe ring on the back of the case, the MagSafe charging will not work. Because of the reasons I mentioned and the plastic scratching the sides of the phone, the case is a no go for me.
I'm looking to purchase an iPhone 15 Plus. Do you know if Otterbox redesigned the Defender Pro case for the 15, or can I buy a 14 Plus Defender Pro and use that? Not sure if they were marketing the case as "good for both models".
If the case says 13,14,15 don’t buy it. The 15’s are 1.1 millimeter taller. The case bends . It doesn’t fit properly. look at it from the side, it’s bending. wait for a 15 stand alone case.
I received my case just today and it says Iphone 14 and 15 plus. It says so on the sticker placed over what i can barely see as iphone 6.7. My phone is Iphone 15 pro max. Im returning this because the plastic lip is resting directly on top of the titanium corner. I believe over time it will leave marks on the body as it is not without some small movements, if pressed there are some wiggle to it as it is onely secured by the rubber exterior.
Do you know of any good camera protectors that fit this case?

U can put some adhesive around the sides.

No you can’t because the 15 has the new universal button in place of the silent switch

Yes it’s redesigned for the action button and also the dimensions for the iPhone 15 Pro Max are smaller that previous generations
