I have the otterbox symmetry silicone and it’s nice but it’s a grease magnet on the back and it gets damaged easily if you drop it. I dropped it from waists height getting out of my car and it took a chunk out of the silicone. The phone was fine though.

Do you have any recommendations for something that focuses most on protecting the screen? I’m an electrical contractor I’m always breaking screens from face down drops.. just got the 15 pro max so trying to choose wisely.
Hi! Thank you for your kind words. For protecting screens, I do like the 2 piece designs for the iPhone 15 pro max much more than the 14 pro max cases. As someone who has broken at least 10+ iPhone screen, I do like the supcase UB beetle because it's under $30 and similar protection to the otterbox defender. Ever since I use the 2 piece for heavy duty work and a thinner case for regular use, I have not broken a screen yet. Right now, I am rocking the otterbox symmetry plus a tempered glass screen protector but if I go moving/anything heavy duty, I will take it out and use the UB case.
I've owned an Otterbox Symmetry + case for my iPhone 14 Pro for almost a year and it's a great case. My only gripe is how it yellows over time. I recently bought a new one and was blown away at how clear it was lol
I'll be getting the iPhone 15 Plus soon but I don't know if I should get the Clear Denfender XT with magsafe or this brand which is a Mous Clarity 2.0 Case. Help me pick!!!
Awesome review, just purchased an otter box Figura series and a symmetry case. My one issue with the figura cases I’ve seen is there isn’t any screen protection or raised edges.
It's slightly raised I think but not a lot. Most thin cases like the figural have this issue so you might want to add a screen protector. They look much better on the 15 because of the thinner bezels.

They definitely updated the material in some way. It's not as stiff as the case for the 14 pro imo.

Does the Otterbox Lumen scratch easily?
No it keeps clean well
MagSafe is really dependent on the external accessories as well so do your research on your wallet’s, etc

Yellowing depends on a lot of factors too like heat and sun. Last years 14 pro max case has not yellowed for me yet.

Reading reviews online for the OtterBox cases offered by Apple, I heard they do not fit snug on the iPhone.
The heavier cases fit snug on my iPhone pro max but I can see the criticism on the lighter cases.
I wanted to get the ones offered by Apple since I hate the bulky feeling. Might reconsider now then.
I think it’s silicone. Silicon is what computer chips are made of.

How high camera bumper for symmetry
For screen, I measure about 1.5mm from the top of case to the screen,, camera bump is about 2mm.

It's a solid case but I just like stronger magsafe because my magsafe car mount is attached to my ac vent.
Ottergrip is trash. Do not buy. Breaks within a few weeks
