This debate was such a breath of fresh air I think all states should use ranked choice. Well-done, so professional it was almost boring. I even have respect for Chesboro, I think she did very nicely. I wouldn't vote for her, but she did come off very well.

I'm a little ashamed to say this is the first AK debate I've listened too as a resident for 31 years. The most surprising thing I learned was Lisa is really a Democrat with her views on most policies. She also really speaks like a career politician swayed by DC. I'm voting for Kelly, but id vote Patricia before Lisa. At least she seems genuine about wanting to do what's right by the people, even if I disagree with how she plans to do it.

Thank You Senator Murkowski for your hard work for Alaska. Kelly Tshibaka says she wants money for Alaska projects but then criticizes Murkowski for negotiating the infrastructure bill, for which Sullivan and Young also voted. Tshibaka said that infrastructure money is tied up in the federal government and then Senator Murkowski had to list off the communities already receiving that funding. We don’t need someone like Tshibaka who is either ignorant of Alaska or willing to lie to try and make a candidate look bad.

The LGBTQ questions and answers are so confusing to me… obviously nobody wants anyone to hate them, but what about the women who don’t want to see penises in their locker room? Why is it controversial to stand up for their rights? What about all of the women that feel marginalized by this???

@@bradleyjohnson3237 the evidence of trans on female crime is completely unsubstantiated, while there is evidence of hate crimes against trans people forced to be in these situations. There’s a lot more trans people than you’re trying to say there are. Even if they are a minority, they’re Alaskans and we need to do everything in our power to protect them from violence. Plus I have no idea what you mean by “alienating”. No one is alienated by anti discrimination laws.

There’s plenty of females out there who are uncomfortable with seeing penises in locker rooms. I do NOT want my daughter being in the same locker room as an individual who may get naked in front of her… that should not be unreasonable. Why are you against my point? Do you not care about women’s rights? What about sports, what if females are feeling like they can’t beat a naturally born male but can’t speak up because people like you will shove this stuff down their throats?
What I’m saying is not unreasonable. I’m not calling for violence, I’m calling for common sense.
